Great buy for the money
I have researched what Benfotiamine could do to one's well-being and gave it a try. It is easy to take with plenty of water between meals and the product cost is acceptable to my budget. I have purchased vitamins and other supplements from Swanson's for several years now and they stand by their products. I am a satisfied customer.

Fat soluble but directions say to take with water
This is a fat soluble B vitamin but the directions say to take with water. Water would be convenient, but it doesn't really make sense, unless there is something I am unaware of.

Great eye check-up
About 8 months before my last eye check-up, I added benfotiamine and zeaxanthin to my eye supplements. Considering that I'm 62 years old, I didn't expect for my vision to improve, but this was the best eye check-up that I've had in a long time and I plan to continue taking this. I watch for the sales and then I stock up.

Passes Muster
Only been using this for a few days now so I dont know if it is better than the other forms of thiamin (B1) but by all accounts on internet it should be better absorbed and more bioavailable to cells than other forms.

Good Product, Great Price

worth it's salt!
you may find other brands with 150 mg's,but with less capsules...so,even though i a'm taking 2 twice daily to get a good dosage,it's still the best deal going.for my buck,and knowing swansons exceptional history,i know i a'm getting the best product for my money....it does do exactly as it states.great,great product...

Best form of B1
Great for my skin! Expensive for a B-vitamin but this is the most bioavailable form of B1.
Cheapest price I found anywhere.
Be sure to take with a B-complex to get the maximun benefit! Otherwise you'll reduce it's effectiveness by 5 fold!

The Better Form of B1
Maybe because it is fat-soluble is why it works so well. However, I think it should also come in a
higher mg. I take 4 a day. It is the one vitamin I take that I can say that the results are astounding.
