LOVE YOUR LIVER
I have used Lipotropic Factors to feed / nourish my Liver for about 5 decades. I have used Milk Thistle Standardized to 80% Silymarin to clean off and protect my liver for about 3 decades. Before I found this Swanson Superior Herb product --- Milk Thistle Standardized Extract supplying 250 mg. @ 80% Silymarin in the 120 capsule size, I bought Jarrow's product, which is also higher quality and higher potency than the rest of the competition. However, Swanson bests Jarrow's 150 mg. product, and even with Swanson selling the Jarrow product at 50% of suggested retail, Swanson's higher potency product is lower priced. Again, Swanson knocks it out of the park. This Swanson Superior Milk Thistle keeps both my wallet and my Liver in good shape. In my opinion, the Liver is the most important organ in the body, --- terribly overworked and abused throughout one's entire life --- so I seriously recommend this product to everyone.

Assisting Liver Cleansing

I use this for liver health. With most herbs, try to get a standardized extract or else you have no idea how much active constituents are in the product.

We are never ever without this.
We've used milk thistle in our household for about a decade. This was the first (now of many) Swanson brand product I purchased. I've recommended it to many friends who now purchase it too because it is the best quality of any brand I've ever had, and it is priced extremely well.

Liver nourishment
I take Milk Thistle to nourish and protect my liver. Swanson's product is a great value. It's not something you can feel but research indicates it's good to take. The liver is way too important not to protect and this is a very affordable way to do so.

Great Value
The price on this can't be beat. Not one with this potency. Beware of other brands. Some are contaminated with lead or cadmium. Swanson has never failed ConsumerLab testing for contamination or adulteration.

Skin Ordor
I had an awful ordor coming from my skin. After taking milk thistle in combination with red clover the smell has gone away. I feel really good about these products and would recommend it for anyone who has a uncontrolable ordor coming out of their skin.

Milk Thistle
Milk thistle is said to protect the liver. In addition it is now known that it is an excellent antioxidant. I prefer to use products that are as natural (close to the way they appear in nature) as possible. This product has done what I expected it to do and as a result I feel much better than many folks much younger than I.

Great Value!
This "Swanson Superior Herbs" line of milk thistle contains 50% "whole seed" and the other 50% contains an 80% standardized extract, making for a great value for the price....
The difference between this line of milk thistle and the "Swanson Premium" Full Spectrum Milk Thistle is that the "Full Spectrum Milk Thistle" does not contain any extract.

This is a good value, and great for your liver. Glad that there is both the extract and the powdered root. Although I can't say it helps my hangovers be any shorter though.
