The beloved Acacia tree enjoys an important place in human history, equally regarded across cultures, continents and religious and medicinal traditions. However, numerous species exist and it's important to know the difference. Our Acacia Catechu Extract is produced from the most common species used in traditional Western herbalism and should not be confused with its Ayurvedic cousin Acacia nilotica. Acacia catechu is traditionally used for internal comfort. Ours is standardized to 40% catechins.
