TASTY!!
Have to have these with me all the time. I find the taste of tea or coffee so much better with this sugar substitute...and it isn't artificial which is so great!

Subtly Sweet
Like the title says it's a subtle sweetness. Not like we're use. "Sweet" taste is not in the forefront but is secondary to the beverage or food used in. .

good for customers
I buy this for our business, as we serve coffee to customers all day long. I've done away with sugar and all the artificial sweetners and all of our customers are not complaining!

Swanson Xylitol Packets
The packets are unbelievably difficult to open! It is necessary to tear them to shreds with violence! You must do something!

Love this sweetener!
I have used many different sugar substitutes. This particular brand of Xylitol has got everything beat! I love that it has the crunch of sugar and an unbeatable taste. The packets don't open easily, though, so I end up cutting them open. The one drawback, but worth the hassle.

disappointed
I too was disappointed in this product as had assumed it was also made from Birchwood as the powder form is from Swanson. There is no indication given that this product is made from corn nor if it is GM or not!
I don't like the taste as much as the other form and will not be using it, sorry.

Disappointed
I was very disappointed in this product because it is the type of zyletol that is made with corn. I also ordered the powder zyletol because it is made from birchwood not corn, so I assumed that the packets would be the same. NOT SO. I do not use the corn type so the product is useless to me. Sorry but can not give a good review on this product. I think the printed material on the internet & catalog should state where it is from. I certainly would not have bought it if I had read it was from corn.

Tastes good.
I wanted/needed a sugar substitute and decided to try Xylitol.
It does taste good and is free of any funny after taste, but I need about 3 or 4 packets to even notice the slightest sweetness.
Other than that, I'm pretty much happy with this product.

Works for me.
I started using Xylitol in toothpaste, mouthwash, chewing gum and loose granuales for cereal approx. two years ago. I lost my dental insurance and could not afford to go twice yearly as usual, so I decided to put Xylitol to the test. I recently had my teeth cleaned for the first time in two years, and I was told I had minimal staining and no plaque at all. My gums are healthy and my teeth haven't dulled from staining at all. I drink several cups of tea daily, so I think Xylitol has proven that it works for me.

At first when I was reading up on Xylitol, I thought it was a great product which is why I ordered it. Later, I found out that it still isn't natural because it is still made in a lab taking a certain molecule out or something like that. I will not order it anymore or get it from anywhere else because I am into putting natural good things in our bodies. The sweetness of it is like sugar but not for me.
