Vitamin D liquid drops
I was very disappointed in these drops. Nothing would come out of the bottle, even with vigorous shaking! Since it needs to 'drop' onto the tongue, that made it ridiculous. I even tried to make the opening larger, but gave up.

Olive oil is delicious
Better to use a lower dose of D, even if yer loading, cawz a single drop of a hi dose can get "lost on the mix"--in your gut. So 400 units is a good place to start. The best carrier for an oil soluble stuff is medium chain triglycerides, which will not resist digestion as much as an oil will. But the olive oil in this product, unlike the first batch I bawt, is excellent. I called Swanson to find out what the oils is, assuming Swanson sells it, and got no help--as I expected : ) -- from the "product specialist". Not in love with the droperless dropper-bottle, thos this beats Carlson's D3 bottle which needed almost 10 seconds for the 1sr drop to drop.

I no longer use this product.
I didn't mind the change in dropper style......or the change in flavor. They lowered the price too, and that was nice.....but now that the product is no longer effective, I felt I must look for a different brand of this vitamin.
Buyer Beware.

Excellent choice
This easy to take Vitamin D3 product has enabled me to maintain my Vitamin D levels with no difficulty. I feel that it is an important supplement. Swanson has done it again!

Excellent source of D3
This is such an easy source of getting our daily dose of D3 that it surpasses buying any supplements. What makes it even more beneficial is that it is included as part of an olive oil mix. Now, having heard how retailers are cheating the consumers with fake oilive oils, I actually tested this and the results confirmed the olive oil is actually 100% olive oil.
Very proud of Swanson for their integrity and for providing us with the best products.

Direct Absorption of Vitamin D
Vitamin D in olive oil is the only way to take this important hormone as it is directly absorbed into the bloodstream, just like the body does it when it produces it from the sun on your skin.

I won't buy this again!
In addition to the bad packaging that wastes plenty of drops (see my previous review), it now has an strong olive oil taste to it. It used to be tasteless. I will NOT be buying this product again, but will try another brand even if it is more expensive. I just do not like all the chages to this product!!! It is not longer a good value for the $$ at alll!

They changed the formula - YUK!
I prefer to take D-3 in liquid form, but the new formula tastes like olive oil. Okay on a salad - I guess. The previous formula had a pleasant taste of citrus. Also changed is the bottle. Ugh - The new dropper style does not easily dispense drops. Swanson - please revert back to the previous bottle and flavor. Thank you.

Simple Ingredients and unique dropper bottle
I really like this vitamin d3. It's effective for me especially since I can't take vitamins that have a lot of extra ingredients. Amazingly this vitamin d is in olive oil ONLY---and, oil enhances absorption. I've never used this type of dropper bottle before, I really like how slowly and exactly it measures the drops.

vitamin D
we've been counseled by our doctor that 4-5,000 IU's of vit D a day is a smart move.

low D levels
I've been taking this, and loving it for quite some time. I take 6 drops because I live in Oregon. However I just discovered my vitamin D3 levels are very low! I am very disappointed I'm switching to Nature's Way. There stuff is always good.

Great Idea, But...
Even with supplements, I tend to be on the low side for vitamin D if I'm not careful. I feel so much better when I am getting adequate amounts that I thought I would try these drops, and if you consider the price, there was no way you could go wrong trying them. But...I really had a hard time getting the oil to come out. I finally held it upside down, shook vigorously over my palm, and waited for the drops to come. The other down side is that it is hard to gauge how many drops you are taking if you take the drops orally and straight into your mouth. I may keep using these since they probably obsorb better than pills, but they definitely are different than just popping your vitamin and going about your day.

Easy to swallow
I find the drops easy to administer and find the lack of chemicals a good thing.

Wonderful Product
I was extremely low on Vitamin D when I had blood
test last time. I started doing the Swansons
Vitamin D3, 500 IU per drop. I doubled up on the
dosage and when I went this year my count was
up really good. These drops are so easy to take
and do not taste bad. I drop them on a spoon and
put as much as I can under my tongue..... I will continue to take them and recommend them to
everyone..... Thanks
