didn't help me sleep
I bought this product because I need help getting to sleep and it didn't help at all. I have tried Valerian before but a different brand and it helped me in the past. So I bought Swanson's brand because it is a good price but it didn't work for me. I did feel relaxed but not sleepy. I started with one at night and then took two at night and didn't notice any difference.

Valerian is a staple in our medicine cabinet. It provides a good nights sleep when needed and a calming effect when trials hit and the pressure rises.

VALERIAN ROOT & PASSIONFLOWER
This combo works wonders for me. The valerian root helped me sleep, but when I added the passionflower I slept more soundly. I take 2 of each before bedtime, read for 1/2 hour, and sleep soundly for 6-7 hours. I ordered a lot, I never want to run out of either of these! Thanks for getting me a good nights sleep!

Hubby swears by it
My husband takes this just about every night to help him fall asleep. For some reason, I do not tolerate Valerian root, and it has the reverse effect on me and causes me to wake up in the middle of the night. But for him, it does the job. He usually falls asleep within an hour after taking it. He can't do without it!

Good Nights Sleep

I really enjoyed this product. I am normally a very anxious and energized person, who has a difficult time winding down at night. Excellent Product
This product really relaxes me if I take one. Taking two puts me to sleep. After some doubt, my wife now takes these and is a believer.
They smell bad, but this is a minor detail compared to the benefits of taking these supplements.

Gentle, Calming Relief
I have taken this product for over 10 years and highly recommend it for busy, stressful lives. I take it in the evening and find hours of encompassing relaxation. Highly suggest if a person can relate to this lifestyle. As others have said, you can pay more but this product can't be beat for price and effectiveness.

Best Valerian
Swanson's Valerian Root is very effective, so don't let the low price fool you. It calms you within 20 to 30 minutes of ingesting only 1 capsule. Also great to use before bed for better sleep. All Valerian Root products smell funky, and this is no exception. A must product to always have with you.
