CAPSULES FOR TEA
I was putting together a group of hebs as a kidney tonic, and some of them, including this Uva Ursi herb, were unavailable in tea bags. So I got a bottle of the capsules, and I pulled apart 6 capsules and dumped the contents into my big pot of water. This worked fine - - - having a combination of herbs, some from tea bags and some the powdered contents of capsules, which I would bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
After I bought my first bottle of these Swanson Premium Uva Ursi Leaf Capsules, I noticed that among Swanson's 'NEW' products was Alvita brand Uva Ursi Tea Bags. Now I have a choice. It works well either way. From a taste standpoint, Uva Ursi and the other herbs for the urinary tract taste fine. I drink a quart of the herb tea mixture at room temperature throughout the day. I believe that Uva Ursi is a very important component of this urinary tract herb tea mixture for me.

Uva ursi gives good support to the kidneys. I only take for 2 weeks at a time.

to clean my kidneys
I wanted to use soemthing natural to cleans my kidney as i use milk thystle to clean my liver as i have been doing for years now.

Uva Ursi
My herbalist recommended this for bladder and kidney support. Works well with garlic and echinacea. It works.
