Swanson Premium Sea Buckthorn Moisturizing Cream gives you all of the naturally gentle, nourishing, moisturizing properties of this historic herb at a price anyone can afford—and it's now paraben free! Sea Buckthorn has been used for cleansing, moisturizing and nourishing the skin since antiquity. In fact, the ancient Greeks gave it the botanical name Hippophae, which means "shiny horse." It works in part by capturing and retaining moisture, which makes sense when you consider its growing conditions: Sea buckthorn is found growing in sand dunes and other considerably dry locations. You'll find sea buckthorn in many high-end skin care products sold in pricey salons. Use with our Sea Buckthorn Liquid Facial Cleanser.

Ingredients: Purified (deionized) water, Aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf gel, vegetable glycerin, Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, extra virgin Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, sea buckthorn oil, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, glucose and glucose oxidase and lactoperoxidase (natural preservative), phenoxyethanol, d-panthenol (vitamin B-5), vitamin E (tocopherol), vitamin C (ascorbic acid), soy lecithin, potassium hydroxide, xanthan gum, Origanum vulgare (oregano) leaf extract, Thymus vulgaris (thyme) leaf extract, Cinnamomum zeylanicum (cinnamon) bark extract, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower extract, Citrus medica limonum (lemon) peel extract, Mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf extract, Hydrastis canadensis (goldenseal) root extract, Olea europaea (olive) leaf extract.

Directions: After cleansing, apply to face and neck two times per day. Suitable to wear under make-up. For best results use with Swanson® Sea Buckthorn Facial Cleanser.

Sea Buckthorn Cream I have used the Sea-buckthorn cream for about a month. I like the product for the fact it's natural comparing to most of moisturizers sold on the shelves and its price. But it is too rich for my face as I live in the southern region where the weather is mostly warm and humid. I would recommend this cream to those who live in a dryer place. April 26, 2013
