a must have for me!
i am a nurse and work long hours. i HAVE to function at a high level of energy and stamina. this product is part of my daily routine. i can really tell a difference if i forget to take it or worse, run out for a few days. it does make a difference. swanson's quality and price is unbeaten in my book.

At my age you need all the help you can get and this stuff make the day go better. More energy and endurance plus it puts a little spark in the plug if you get my drift.

KRG... really?
Real KRG (Korean Red Ginseng) is either red, or at least a shade of brown in color, from being steam heated and then dried. Plus, you can taste the difference between it and any other kind of Ginseng. This did not even come close to tasting like the real KRG, so I opened one up to look at what was inside. It's a white powder. Definitely not KRG. No wonder the price is so low (compared to real KRG). I'm not saying this is not Ginseng. It's just not KOREAN RED Ginseng. Unfortunately, this is a very common problem, due to the very high cost of the real thing.

the other swanson Ginseng is better
I tried this korean red ginseng and have also tried the other plain Korean ginseng that swanson sells and the plain Korean Ginseng is better. It's definitely more potent. How do I know? for one thing, the red ginseng was near white and has little aroma and taste. The regular swanson ginseng has more ginseng smell and when I let the capsule melt in my mouth, the regular one has a much stronger taste than the red one. I don't know why that is since red ginseng is supposed to be more potent but for some reason, this one was not. Just get the regular one and you'll be fine.

Low potency
I am a huge believer in ginseng. This was low cost and low potency. I tasted the capsule contents and it was very bland. I have some expensive Korean Red Ginseng that is from 6+ year old roots that is easy to distinguish by taste and effects from this product. I wish it were higher quality. Even though it is cheap, the price/potency ratio doesn't justify the purchase to me.

Ginseng is good.
helps me with focus and relaxation. It's a good adaptogen. And, it's synergistic with gotu-kola an eleuthero(which I don't really like).

Not so good
I initially purchased this version of Korean Ginseng, because it was the cheapest. I would recommend that you purchase the other version of Korean Ginseng, which is only a buck of two more. I didn't like this version because I felt that it contained too many fillers. The other version of this pill has a strong Ginseng odor when the bottle is opened. This version has absolutely no smell. Get the stronger version!
