UNCOMMONLY GOOD Buchu is one of several important, effective herbs very good for the urinary tract. Since Swanson did not have it in tea bags, and since I did not want to spend twenty dollars for a 2 ounce bottle of a liquid Buchu concentrate, I opted for these Buchu 4:1 Extract capsules. I pull apart 4 to 6 of these capsules and dump the powder into my pot of water along with several other herbs that are good for the urinary tract. After bringing this herbal "tea" mixture to a boil, I simmer for 30 minutes, and then gradually consume that entire pot of kidney flushing tea over the course of a day. I am doing this every day for a while. There is no issue with taste. My entire "herbal tea" mixture is easy to drink, which I do at room temperature, because it tastes fine. If one is looking for an excellent herb for the urinary tract in capsule form so that they can swallow the capsules rather than use the herb powder in a tea, swallowing several capsules daily works fine, too.
