A good quality calcium with D3. Would be nice if you didn't have to take so many of these but they are not huge like some calcium pills this way.

Good Calcium
I like this form of calcium the best. I feel it is a better form than others I have tried and I also get the Vitamin D with it. Pills aren't so huge to swallow.

Satisfactory
Pills work well, but are difficult to swallow. I take other pills the same size, and I can swallow them easily. I think they need a coating to help them go down.

Outstanding value for a calcium citrate supplement. Calcium citrate is the clearly preferable form of calcium due to its superior absorption characteristics. As a result, citrate-oriented supplements are generally more expensive than the alternatives. I was VERY happy to find Swanson's bargain alternative. High quality, great price, very happy with this product.

Does the job
I've been taking Calcium Citrate for years. I wish they would come in smaller tablets. This are a little narrower than most, but quite long. I haven't used them long enough to know their effectiveness. I'll be albe to tell in a few weeks. Good calcium makes my hair and nails look better.

I had read Calcium Citrate is more readily absorbed & you need vit D with it as well, finding a good citrate especially at a good price is hard. This is definately the best for the price & quality out there, Swanson's has yet to disappoint. The only thing I would do is make the tabs smaller but I spit all my pills for others it would be ok.

Good Product
I have used this product for several years because it is an excellent source of calcium and includes Vitamin D to help absorption. My only criticism is the large size and shape of the tablet. It is difficult to swallow, and I wish Swanson could either round the pill shape or somehow make it smaller.

Cheaper than Citracal Plus D
Bought because this is cheaper than the brand name -- but there is also a little less Vitamin D in these Swanson tablets.
My friend's earlier version of these were thicker but shorter. Swanson should return to that size.
