My favourite supplement
Wow this is an awesome supplement for me. I take this for its effect on cognition as well as for the gym. It doesn't turn me into a genius but it does speed up my cognition and can remember details easier.

Does what I want it to
I take this supplement because it seems to effectively keep me from retaining water-weight. Although I don't believe that it is helping me lose actual body fat, I am happy with this product. The capsules dissolve like they should, and not before. A previous brand that I used was in tablet form and the tabs would begin breaking down while sitting in my pill organizer.

An Effective Supplement
I take this for energy & mental clarity. It is very effective. Unless you eat a large amount of red meat you are probably not getting enough of ALC. My only issue with it is that I wish Swanson would make a 1000 mg capsule. The optimum dose is 1000 mg on an empty stomach. I still think the 500 mg of 100 capsules is a good value.
