Good product
I tried several other powder proteins on the market but had difficulty digesting them -- upset my stomach. I have not had any trouble with this product and I really like that it is organic. I add it to my smoothie each morning. Now on my second container.

Gag me
This protein drink needs to be put into a blender and it still comes out so powdery and taste so bad that it gags me. I could not drink a full glass. I returned it and am waiting for my refund.

Very satisfied
Product is awesome. It is what it says it is. Eating gluten and dairy free, I am satisfied with this product. Only wish it came in a bigger container. Will continue to re-order this product.

Brown Rice Prot.
Very good product. However, The only problem is that it doesn't mix extremely well. I cannot see a way around the mixing problem, but one may exist. This is the only reason why I gave it a 4. Will probably order again.

Not too tasty, but high quality
The texture is the worst part. It's not flavored so I don't expect to taste good. It's a little chalky tasting, like a soy protein Naked juice. But the quality is nice and it's very pure. Unfortunately, I haven't been using it long enough to tell if it produces the gains like whey protein, but I feel cleaner using it. If you're looking for an alternative to whey protein, this mixed with some pea protein and maybe some hemp protein would set you up for some vegan protein awesomeness!

Looking to cut back on red meat .
This powder is easy to digest.
I mix it with a little apple juice.

Great
I love this product, I've ordered it twice. I mix this 1/2 and 1/2 with the whey and it keeps me full.

Too gritty
I have tried brown rice protein from several sources and could never get pass the taste. It is too gritty. If you are looking for a vegan protein source, try Swanson Vitamin Pure Pea Protein. It's smooth and has more of a neutral taste.

I like this product!
It is not as gritty as some rice protein powder. It mixes very well and taste very good. Great quality! I would like to see a vanilla version of it!

It's rather fluffy and light. I have to use two scoops each time to feel somewhat like a breakfast/snack. The taste is very neutral too, rather pleasant.

Yuch!
I'll have to try the other reviewer's smoothie recipe. But I've got to say that one scoop added to my usual fruit-and-yogurt smoothie made a noticeable difference in taste, texture and color... all for the worst. I'll stick to my unflavored whey!
I imagine this is fine for baking... I'll probably use it up in my bread machine. But if you're buying it as a kicker for your usual smoothie, brace yourself for some unappetizing results!

Best I've Found So Far!
I've tried Jarrow and NutriBiotic brands of brown rice powder, and I think this one is the best. The others are fine, but this isn't as strongly flavored (which I like, because I don't like to taste it in my smoothies) and it's a great deal. Also, I like that it's organic. I can't tolerate other protein powders, esp. egg white or whey, so brown rice protein offers an well-tolerated alternative. Note, this does have some flavor, but it's not overpowering. I found this to have a very slight almost nutty flavor, and, if you use it in a smoothie (with a blender), it blends very well with very little gritty texture (which all powders seem to have). I haven't tried stirring this into anything with a spoon, so I can't comment on how well it mixes, but I don't think any powder is going to be very palatable that way. Toss a scoop into your fruit smoothie, though, and it's great. Try this:
8 oz. organic soy or almond milk
1 scoop of this powder
1 frozen banana
1 Tbs. cold pressed EV organic olive oil
1 Tbs. ground flax
1 Tbs. wheat germ
1/4 cup or so of oatmeal (uncooked!)
Squirt of raw honey (optional)
Small handful of kale or spinach leaves (optional -- you don't taste them, promise!)
A couple of frozen strawberries (optional)
Blend and drink immediately for a satisfying and very healthy breakfast or snack!
