Best tasting kernals I have found
I have eaten apricot kernals with my breakfast every day for several years. Most brands are very bitter and hard to chew (I have tried several brands). However, this brand not only has a great taste, but is also easy to chew. It is a great product.

Pleasantly Surprised
I bought these as part of a general feel better program I have put myself on. I was warned by a friend not to eat more that 7 or 8 at a time and sure enough it said so right on the package. Oh yes, the package is great, resealable and it really does reseal! I added them to a shake I make and they added something to "chew". Will be buying them again. Thanks.

May not be potent
These kernels are very fresh and well packaged, but with very little bitterness. I thought it was a mistake at first, until I read the reviews.
I don't know all the details of apricot kernels, but bitter seems to be the property we want for potency.
SO, as professional as this product looks and the great price, I wont buy them again.
I love Swanson and trust their products, but they may want to look into this one.

EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED
I will use these wonderful Apricot Kernals for ever. I appreciate that Swanson brings us these as an Organic product. I eat my own mixture of Almonds and Walnuts every day as a snack while I walk my dog every morning. Now I have added around a dozen of these tender, tasty Apricot Kernals just before we leave the house for our walk. This is a wonderful product and an outstanding value. I am so glad that Swanson handles it, especially in such a high quality way. I sincerely recommend Swanson's Organic Apricot Kernals to everyone as part of a healthful dietary program.

Totally Awesome !
These are absolutely awesome ! So fresh & at $7.00 a pound thats less than organic almonds ! I used to grow apricots when I lived in Arizona & I always ate the pits , I've eaten thousands of them in my life & I'm 63 & going strong ! Uzbekistan where these are grown has an environment similar to Hunza. Thank you Swanson !

not my favorite
I have found them a little bland in taste, lighter in color and softer than what I have had from other suppliers. It makes me wonder if they are as nutritionally beneficial.
It certainly is convenient to order from Swanson's!

Swanson Organic 100% Organic Raw Apricot Kernels
These are the best Apricot Kernels that I have ever had. They are soft, moist and easy to chew. I bought them from other sources, and they were dry, hard and difficult to chew. I use them as a supplement. They stay moist in the reseal able pouch for about a three weeks. I am a return customer for this product, and will continue buying them from Swanson.

Disappointed
For those seeking "sweet" apricot kernels for pure culinary enjoyment, these are a good choice. For those seeking the benefits of the various B vitamins, they are not. I've usually purchased only apricot "PITS" and cracked them myself...only what is needed at one sitting, but there has been a shortage and most suppliers will not have them again until the Fall. The kernels fresh from the pits are extremely bitter...but edible. God made many seeds, herbs, etc. bitter or difficult to enjoy in the consuming because it's health benefits come when taken in small doses...but adverse reactions can come when over-consumed., so their bitterness is a "cautioin" to use wisdom. Apricot kernels, fresh from the pits are one of those blessings. In some rare cases, a supplier knows how to gently dry the pits to preserve the B vitamins, in particular, B17 When they do, the seeds are very bitter. Thie supplier of these "kernels" produced them for their culinary appeal rather than their nutritional value.

Apricot kernels
I bought 4 bags of these apricot kernels and got them a couple days ago. They are the freshest I have ever bought, being moist and soft. I have bought apricot kernels elsewhere that were hard and dry. I will buy them here again in the future. Thank you Swanson!

Terrible quality..
Apricot kernels are supposed to be moist and very bitter. This is due to the b-17 that is contained in them. These kernels are extremely dry and have absolutely no bitterness to them at all. I doubt there is any b-17 in them whatsoever. I would buy elsewhere or wait for Swanson to change their supplier.
