I have been a coffee lover for over 40 years and this is by far the best I have ever had. Full bodied, rich and flavorful as well as the best price for organic I have found to date. I have 2 bags in my freezer right now! Come on over...

If you are picky about your coffee...
I am picky about the coffee I drink and have tried many different brands. I decided to try this Swanson brand as I prefer a dark roast for the flavor and appreciate the organic version. This coffee is slightly better than the brand I usually buy. Also, keep in mind that the brands offered in the stores are, for the most part, 12 oz. bags (3/4 of a pound). This Swanson brand is a full 16 oz. (1 pound). If you buy this with a couple of other items to defray Swanson's reasonable shipping charge, I doubt you will find a full pound of organic coffee in the store or elsewhere online for a better price. Recommended for those who prefer a flavorful cup of coffee.

bad taste, to acidic
This stuff was hard to digest I mean I own a Bunn coffee maker and its a good brewer, it makes most stuff taste the way its suppose to taste. This coffee had a strange texture too it. I like dark coffee but the metal like packaging I think does something to the taste.

This Coffee Is Delish

Great coffee at a fantastic price
we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and value of swanson's french roast organic coffee. We feel it's superior to organic grocery store coffee and costs half the price. My husband loves the strong bold taste. For myself I usually prefer flavored coffees but this french roast has a smooth chocolatey taste that's just as delicious as the flavored types. Actually, it's better and richer. The best thing of all, it's organic!

Pleasant surprise!
I never expected to find more than good quality supplements at Swanson, so it is a pleasure to report that this is excellent coffee at a good price and organic to boot. I would like to see a "fair trade" alternative added in the future.

Best Coffee Ever Tasted
This is the best French Roast I have ever tasted and I am a coffee person, I love my coffee very strong. Most of the french roast I have purchased in the past had a bitter aftertaste, not this coffee! This is the smoothest, freshest cup of coffee I have ever had. I will definitely buy more, not only is this the best coffee I have tasted, the price is great and it is organic too. Love it!

Excellent taste & value
Just brewed a cup this morning (1/4 cup coffee to 6 cups water) and it is delicious! Tastes fresh - a top quality coffee. I like that it's organic and the price is very cheap compared to store bought coffee.

What a way to Start Your Day!
I love this coffee. I ordered both the Dark and Medium Roasts. I prefer the dark roast, and my wife prefers the medium. They are both great and I have to say this is some of the freshest ground-coffee I have ever bought. It's also about half-price compared to the Organic Coffee available at the local grocery store.
