Onion flavor is found in virtually every cuisine. Swanson Certified Organic Onion Powder will provide a wonderful flavor and aroma to your gravies, sauces, meats and soups. Substitute 1 1/3 Tablespoons of onion powder in place of one onion.

Ingredient: 100% Certified Organic Onion Powder (Allium cepa).

Suggested Use: Can be used as a condiment, for taco mix, chili, barbeque rubs, salad dressings, dips, marinades, soups, stews, meats of all kinds, salads, eggs, salsa and many other foods. Store in a dry place. Keep container tightly sealed to protect the natural aroma and flavor. Substitute one tablespoon onion powder for every medium onion called for in a recipe.

Organic Onion Powder This is the BEST onion powder - I appreciate that it's organic! I find I favor this over my other favorite seasoning which is garlic powder. We've tried many brands of onion powder & this one tops them all! Sprinkle some on a toasted bagel which has been drizzled on top with flax or olive oil - delicious! Even if you feel you don't need this seasoning because you could just chop green or other onions up in your recipes, you will find you'll be reaching for this versatile spice often. March 8, 2011
