Rated 1 out of 5 by ehelene Super weak tea
I was really shocked at how weak this tea is; even when I leave the bag in for up to 10 min it still tastes like I'm just drinking hot water. Along with some other customers, I also hate giving a Swanson product a poor rating because I order other Swanson brand supplements that are wonderful. But this is honestly the worst tea I've ever tasted.

My mother always swore by ginger tea for every possible ailment. It tasted so bad, I would say, Mom, I would rather be sick." Now, here I am drinking it. Who woulda thought. I just add a LOT of lemon (no sugar) to mask the taste (or shock my taste buds). I will say, some of the other herbal teas I try - even the lemon can't mask them.

Works whenever I have an upset stomach or queasiness. Not a ginger fan, and this Tea is not overwhelming, but still has the spicy sweet taste of ginger. Good value, and works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Justsomeguy When I gave up Coca-Cola about a year ago, I started drinking coffee. I couldn't handle the caffeine because most mornings I drank the entire pot. I decided to try green tea but ended up with white since it has more antioxidants. I've never liked tea, so I mixed with Swanson's Organic Ginger tea and Yogi's Egyptian Licorice tea. Delicious. When I ran out of the ginger, I used some I got locally, and It's not as good. I began to get nauseated every morning. I found that this is very common with white and green tea drinkers. It's the polyphenols or tannins causing irritation to our gastric lining. Anyway, I've found I don't feel sick if I add two bags of this to the pot every day. I wasn't happy with the prospect of giving up this new healthy habit.

This is the best organic Ginger Root Tea I have found, product of Macedonia.
Swanson's descriptions on the website and over the tea box exactly reflect it's actual taste. I usually drink it after breakfast and really enjoy. Thanks for this high quality organic tea.

I found this to be an excellent tea. Singular ingredient but good flavor. Not sharp or over powering. We enjoy it as a mid afternoon break.

I like using this ginger tea because it calms my stomach after a meal. This particular one is good and tastes better when I add a touch of honey.

I like the fact that this tea is organic and it is a very good after supper tea. It seems to be a little weak in flavor compared to other brands of organic ginger tea.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LinaZ Not too strong
I have been consuming ginger tea for a while now and I noticed that this particular brand is not as strong as another one I buy at the grocery store. What I like about it is that it does not contain soy. However, it has a very mild taste and the bags are not too full.

This tea is so yummy that I hate to rate it so poorly but nearly half of the tea tags broke making the tea a gritty undrinkable mess.

Rated 1 out of 5 by elsie1950 swanson organic ginger tea
I love Swansons products, but not this one. The strings come off the bags when you try to take the tea bag out of the cup. You can not squeeze the bag to get all of the flavor from the bag because the tea bag falls apart, and the tea has no taste whatsoever. I have been drinking a name brand ginger tea for years but decided to try the Swanson tea because it was cheaper. It is terrible and not worth buying. It will be the first time I have ever returned a product to Swansons. Do not buy this product.

This is wonderful tea, if you like Ginger (which I do!). I was actually able to use the same tea bag for three mugs of tea, and each was pleasantly strong--I had none of the breakage problems that other reviewers had, either.
