Dandelion Root Tea
I started using this product after reading about it in The Plan. The taste is a little earthy, but does not over power. I feel like it is a cleansing agent that is an easy habit to acquire.

Not a lover of this tea. Buy for detox purposes. Will continue to buy occasionally, don't care for flavor, but you could sweeten it with perhaps honey.

Swanson Dandelion Tea Not As Good As Before
I agree with another poster that Swanson's Dandelion tea used to be excellent. It was so rich that it made a delicious coffee substitute. It was much better quality than this at a lower price.
Please, Swanson, return to your roots!

Ok; Not Great
This tea is just ok. There are other brands much better tasting. This one is fairly bitter in comparison, even with a lot of honey. Price is good however.

Tea not very good
I drink a variety of brands of the dandelion root tea, and this was the worst of all. It seemed rather weak and smelled like dirty socks.

Not as good as it was
If I had written this review a few months ago, I would have said this tea was delicious, and as good a replacement for ordinary coffee as you could ask for, much tastier than decaffeinated coffee. I know dandelion tea is supposed to have a lot of health benefits, but I was mainly drinking this because I enjoyed it, having given up coffee years ago.
However, it became back-ordered a few months ago, and I was forced to order Alvita instead. I found the Alvita to be quite weak, and found that I had to use two tea bags to get even a kind of watery replacement for the Swanson brand. I really looked forward to being able to get Swanson's again.
How disappointed I was, then, to find that the Swanson's brand has been altered in some way. Even with two bags, it is more watery than the Alvita's, which I had planned to toss out as soon as the Swanson's arrived in the mail. I ended up doing a taste test between the two brands, and found that I had to use two tea bags per mug for both of them, but that the Alvita's now has the better taste.
I'll still drink this, but it is definitely not the same taste value for money that it was before. I have to wonder if there has been some change in the way dandelion root is being processed at the manufacturers, and if tea makers are unable to get the better tasting dandelion root anymore.

I really like this tea, i think it tastes really good. I like to drink it hot mostly, just plain. I have been drinking it everyday to help detoxify.

I originally ordered this for a liver cleanser not for its taste. But after two boxes, I now order it just because I like it! It has a mild rooty flavor, very distinct, that can be quite addicting. I add a little stevia and sip away! Yum!

excellent tea
at first, i didn't know what to think - it was just different. but the 2nd and 3rd cups grew on me and now it's my favorite tea. i love the full-bodied nature and i agree with the other review that a little packet of stevia compliments this tea perfectly. buy this tea and don't judge it on your first cup -- drink a second and you'll be hooked!

Yummmmm!?
For years I have not been able to have any sort of caffeine. So, obviously, no coffee. And I don't know if it's just my taste buds that are weird or not, but this tea does not taste the way I was expecting it to. From reading about it a lot before getting it, I expected it to be so bitter and repulsive that I'd practically have to drown honey in it and plug my nose. But it seriously tastes like coffee to me, and not as bitter as coffee o.0 (and maybe it's because I haven't tasted it since I was a sophomore in high school) ......but basically, IT'S DELICIOUS!

I love this tea
I like to drink tea at night and this really hits the spot. I really love this brand.
It is a full bodied and robust tea, with just one bag. I put a few drops of stevia or some honey, and it is delicious!
Dandelion is high in nutrients and overall benefits, and it is organic. Try it!

Best of All Dandelion Teas I Ever Drank!
I have purchased three brands of Dandelion Tea from Swanson and I am very pleased to report, Swanson's brand proved far SUPERIOR to the other, nationally recognized, brands. It is rich in flavor and has a beautiful color. Now, for a non-coffee lover, as Dandelion tea tends to taste a bit like weak coffee, brew a lighter drink, add more water, seep shorter time. For coffee lovers, this tea is hitting just the right spot. Absolutely excellent! Great job Swanson people :)
