Figs, Love em I use to eat figs in syrup from a jar when I was a kid. I'm sure these are better for consumption and since I no longer find those jars, these work very well. I chop them up and add them to my morning oatmeal and presto, I'm on the run! Most convenient too, ordering on line from Swansons! They mix well with chopped dates. Not sure what Swansons means by "effectiveness" so I left that one blank. You decide. August 27, 2014
Black Mission Figs Organically Grown i got these to make treats that were healthy . they are great, organic and just a good treat as by them selves or in a no bake recipe. its a keeper April 27, 2014
Figs on a Mission These are the best figs I have ever purchased. They are moist and tasty and goooooooood for you, since they have no additives. Thank you for this product, Swanson. It give them an A+. November 22, 2013
Figs Love them, being Greek and raised with a fig tree in my backyard, I buy and eat them whenever I can. Living in an apt. and not able to grow them, these were the next best thing. Delicious !! June 27, 2013
Good figs It is sweet. The figs are a little tough. I like it anyway. May 24, 2013
Great source of fiber No sugar, just organic figs that taste great and are an excellent source of fiber. May 18, 2013
This is the best dried figs I've ever eaten. I finished almost the whole bag after onpening. I wish the price would be lower so I can order more than one. May 10, 2013
bad batch? I have been very pleased with the other Swanson dried fruits, plus I read such great reviews about these figs, so I was really disappointed when my bags of figs arrived. Not sure if they just had a bad batch or what. The ones that we had were too hard & dry...not moist & chewy like they should be. Several were smaller than average dried figs, and they were so hard that they were impossible to eat, even when we tried soaking them. The flavor was good on the few that were actually edible. They still have the stems, which wasn't a problem for me...but hard for the kids or someone with arthritis to break off. Part of me wants to wait a few more months and try them again, but I do admit that I'm a bit hesitant. April 30, 2013
Perfect and tasty I decided to do sometihng different this year for Easter, and so I bought only a few treats with beet sugar (a chocolate bar for each kid) and the rest of the treats were bags of yummy sweet organic dried fruit! The kids loved them, it was a lot more $$$ but well worth it! April 14, 2013
Treat for husband The eye appeal wasn't there but the taste was very good. October 5, 2012
Great and no preservatives I am always glad to find organic and no preservatives in a dried fig product. The light tan on the fig is the natural sugar blush. I soak them overnight and enjoy in the morning. Great price, too. September 5, 2012
Great Value My husband loves Swanson's figs. March 17, 2012
Figs are Delicious! I bought these for my son for a Christmas gift and he loved them. He really enjoyed the mildly sweet flavor. I am not a fan of just picked figs; the dried ones were just sweet enough and make a great snack! January 10, 2012
Health enhancer for Winter months Dried apricots and Mission figs are my usual pre-enhancer for the Winter months ahead. Keeps me in better health when I use them than if I do not use them. November 27, 2011
More than just taste Very potent, very invigorarting, very sweet, very strong taste. For whatever reason you are buying figs, the quality provides all you would be looking for. Though dehydrated, they are still very moist and juicy. November 26, 2011
Organic figs are absolutely delicious Mission figs are an excellent source of potassium and fiber. They make a great snack for everyone. They are especially tasty when their natural sugars crystallize on the outside of the fig. Warning: they are so delicious, they will not last long! November 16, 2011
Good Dry Fruit Good fibre and not too sweet... I can't keep it on the table. Its usually gone as soon as I open the bab. July 15, 2010
Pleasant Surprise! These figs were very moist and flavorful. They're great to snack on, cook with, or toss on a salad. July 1, 2010
very tasteful and were helpful as a fill-in for snacks between meals, even helped to maintain energy level some without having to have a booster like sugar. June 3, 2010
Wonderfully Sweet These are wonderfully sweet and a great alternative to a heavy dessert after a meal. May 31, 2010
Candy from a tree! OMG! These are so tasty. My kids eat them like candy and they hardly last more than one helping. Plus they are a great alkalizer in this high acid diet-society we live in! September 17, 2009
