A Special Discovery
Due to my fascination of tonifying foods in the Asian model of health, my interest was generated when I read about Swanson's research and experience with the extract form of the Japanese plum called mumefural. Having used pickled umboshi plum for numerous years due to its benefit of enabling the body to retain a greater environment of alkalinity, I already was a believer in its capacity to augment longevity. When the opportunity presented itself, I ordered this extract that converts 20 lbs of plum to 7 ounces of mumefural. The first evening I consumed it, I noticed a shift into a more general sense of well being. It was then I re-examined the article posted by Swanson's attributing this elevated alertness to extra blood fluidity or circulation. Each time I took it, the effects were noticeable. An extra dimension of recharge occuring in my body. As I began to accept the validity that it indeed may be another step in sustaining health, and at such a reasonable price, I began sharing it with my friends and collegues. I will see what they experience, yet I am confident that this is a whole food supplement that can have a large impact on their health as well. I am grateful that Swanson's introduced me to mumefural and applaud their increased efforts to make available those items that can truly make a difference.

Good stuff - sometimes hard to get.
Based on doing an early morning saliva test with pH paper, this product was able to change my pH from 6.6(acidic-a bad thing) to 7.8 to 8.0 (basic- a good thing). Helps to combat the affects of acidic foods and drinks.

Great Product
yes, it does what it is for. Could tell that it does work and it is of quality. it is not a bad price, but not cheap either- but it would be a good product for what it is for.
