Fresh Alfalfa
This product is of really good quality - fresh and green. I have seen some products that were brown - but not Swanson's!

A little hard to swallow
I have been using the alfalfa tablets for about 3 weeks. They are great, I feel no side effects whatsoever. The only drawback is that they are a little hard to swallow, but totally manageable.

Good Value
I like knowing that the alfalfa I buy is first cutting, whole plant product. Some stores sell what is left on the floor ( the leavin's) after all of the prime material is packaged. I trust Swanson's to sell me the best quality alfalfa.

Great supplement
I have been taking alfalfa supplements for many years. It seems to be the forgotten health food. It has many nutritional elements found naturally in alfalfa. However the price does keep going up (as with most things I guess).

Great alfalfa leaf product.
I studied under a master herbalist for years. She taught me to exclusively use alfalfa leaf if I wanted results. I've been very impressed with the quality and value of Swanson's products. I take this product daily.

Great Organic Alfalfa
I have been using this from Swanson's for several years now. I paid a lot more from another website and this is just as good, if not better! I am really satisfied and would have no hesitation is recommending this alfalfa at all.

Very Helpful
I started taking this to help with my iron levels. The taste/texture is terrible, but I never have a problem donating blood anymore.

Works well, but sticks in my throat
This is a great value, and works well. However, I would prefer that it be offered in a different form. Because the pills have a very rough surface, they tend to stick in my throat. If they could have polished surface, or be offered in capsule form, they might be more effective. Then maybe the equivalent of 2-4 rough tablets could be fitted into 1-2 capsules? I would even be willing to pay a little more, per pill, so they would be easier to swallow.

A great neutralizer
I have found Swanson Alfalfa to be very effective in reducing the bad effects of my overly acidic American diet. I don't always have or take the time to put enough fresh vegetables and fruits in my diet and Swanson's Alfalfa, that I take every day, lets my not so perfect diet work.
I am glad to see an organic product a such a reasonable price.

This doesn't work as well as the high priced alfalfa I've had that harvested at night when all the nutriets were in the leaves, but it works fairly well.

Good Nutrition
Along with Barley, Chlorella & Spirulina, Alfalfa is a great daily food supplement to take. This product offers excellent value.
The one thing that could be improved would be to coat these tablets with a food glaze for easier swallowing.
