Not bad at all!
I did not give this 5 leaves because I cannot tell that I feel any different after taking this product. I have been taking fish oil in capsules before using this so it maybe I just don't need this addition. However, I remember taking cod liver oil as a child and this is SO much better! It does not have the fishy taste or odor. It has a pleasant and mild lemon smell.

Better bottling for Pristine Norwegian Cod Liver
I recently started taking the Cod Liver Oil (liquid) and noticed that even though I'm careful when pouring out the oil into a teaspoon, oil still drips on the outside of the bottle. I believe is because oil remains in the grooves of the neck of the bottle and that eventually goes down to the bottom of the bottle. Is it possible to re-design the bottle so that oil does not drip, maybe if it has some kind of a spout on the top of the neck so that it will pour out directly into the spoon?

NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S COD LIVER OIL
I compared all the Fish Oil products for EPA and DHA content. . . . Swanson's Pristine Norwegian Cod Liver Oil wins on all counts: Content / Potency, Taste, and Price!!! I have taken both the Salmon Oil in the 7 ounce bottle, and the Krill Oil capsules, and I like them both. They are excellent products. However, since I began using Swanson's Pristine Norwegian Cod Liver Oil, I have stuck with it. This is the Best Value in EPA and DHA. Who'da thunk it?!! Most of us always thought of Cod Liver Oil as an excellent source of Natural Vitamins A & D, which it is, of course. I never realized it is such a great EPA and DHA source. The Oil tastes fine. It may not be your favorite Pinot Noir or Fresh Ground Coffee, but come on, it's a very mild tasting Natural Fish Oil, and it's really not bad at all. I find it easy to digest with no burp back. I keep it in the door of my refrigerator and take about a teaspoonful size swig every morning while my coffee is doing its thing in the French Press. What a great way to start the day. . . . Pristine Norwegian Cod Liver Oil and Organic French Roast Coffee brewed in a French Press. How're you gonna beat that?!

Tastes fine!
this is part of my morning supplement stack, I take it with Omega 3-6-9, D, calcium, magnesium, grassfed butter, coQ10. cod liver oil has been a home remedy for many many years, sorry it took me so long to figure it out. I will buy more next time! Swanson has a good price.

This is a good product.
Cod liver oil has great health benefits but the fishy taste and after taste always challenge most people. The taste of this cod liver oil is great and it is not a problem to take at all.

This is the best cod liver oil I have ever consumed. The price is good, I only wish it came in a larger bottle! Great for my skin...works from the inside of course.

Mixed opinions
I ordered this for 2 relatives who usually take Carlson's lemon flavor, because it showed identical ingredients but was half the price. Relative 1 says she can barely choke this down; that Carlson's flavor is much better. Relative 2 says she cannot tell the difference, and suggests mixing it with orange juice or oatmeal. If you are quite sensitive about flavor but not sensitive about price, get the Carlson's. If vice versa, get this product.

Wonderful Oil
I love the cod liver oil. It has no fishy taste. I take 1 tbsp each day to get my Omega 3 fatty acids.

This is an excellent value and product. I do not find this to be bad tasting at all. I take one TBS first thing every morning.

Very Mild Tasting
I just received this from UPS today. I went ahead and tried it as soon as I got it. I must say that it's very mild tasting. It does have a strong citrus sent, which masks the "fishy" taste. I also purchased the Virgin Salmon Oil in the same form, but I have yet to try it.

Tastes terrible!
Was happy with what this product did for my cardiovascular system, but the bitter taste and clumping problems were a disappointment.

Better than capsules
Capsules give you less than one should take. I mix it into cooked, old fashioned, oatmeal along with honey and raisin, and everybody likes it and can't taste the fish oil.
I grew up when one had to line up in school every morning to receive a tablespoon of fish oil, serving it in a meal tastes much better

Not to mention the natural vit A and D. It even taste great, never the least bit fishy. I have used a tablespoon every day for a number of years, and would not be without it A larger bottle to help reduce price would be cool.

good for every age
Growing up in Germany in WWII before school started, we had to line up and take one TBS of this product every morning. The taste was awful but we stayed healthy and strong. Now I put it into cooked oatmeal every morning which covers up the taste, add some honey and your're set for a healthy meal to keep you strong . I love it that way. Besides it IS goof for your health

Satisfied!
I have been very happy with this product. The taste is tolerable and the pouring method is less messy than with other brands. The price is great and I see nothing wrong with this product. It seems like a good quality product, but time will tell.

Great Product
This is the best fish oil I have ever used. Taste great and it is offered at a great price. I have also noticed a difference in my short term memory since using it now for about a month.

Compares to the best!
I have been using Carlson's cod liver oil for years, but decided to give Swanson's liquid cod liver (lemon flavor) oil a try. Boy, am I glad I tried it. It tastes great, and doesn't make me burp. I recently started to take 1-2 TBLS a day for joint issues. Taking this much of Carlson's would cost me a lot more money, so I am thrilled I can get a quality oil for so much less. I do wish it came in a bigger bottle.

Unexcelled Cod Liver Oil
No one is more skeptical of health product claims than me. Figuratively, I am from Missouri--ya gotta show me! Because the price of Swanson EFAs Pristine Norwegian Cod Liver Oil was so reasonable, I decided to give it a fling. Now--after using it for the past couple of years--I will never be without it. How they completely eliminated the fishy taste, and infused the oil with a delicious lemon flavor I will never understand. All I know is, it tastes so good I actually crave it. At a dosage of just one teaspoon per day, an inexpensive bottle lasts a little over a month. And to top it all, the pour spout is the most ingenious anti-drip device I have ever encountered. I give this product a resounding five-star thumbs up!

Brain food
I give this to my 4 year old son with no complaints. Everyone, especially kids need good fats for brain development & this is an easy way to add to their diets.
I refrigerate this after opening so it doesn't go rancid. No bad taste.

I want to thank you for making such a great product at a reasonable price. I have no problems taking this Cod Liver Oil and there is no nasty taste to it. Anyone looking to boost there Vit D would agree wtih me as how easy this is to take daily. Living in The Northeast it is important for me to keep up levels of Vit d. Thank you and I look forward to dealing with Swanson for years to come.
