100% Natural Macadamia Nut Oil, Cold Pressed
Great oil for high heat and flavor
I use this oil for high heat cooking. It works great for roasting vegetables or in baked goods. It's a healthy oil and doesn't oxidize at high heats. Best of all it tastes great.

Very good taste but smell a lot more than other I tasted before. Not easy to use because the opening of the bottle is big, hard to have juste a drop or two.

I like this stuff!
Quality? Value? Effectiveness? I'm no scientist or doctor to tell such things. I was out of cooking oil and was visiting Swanson's to buy supplements and saw they had these oils. I tried this one of the many offered. Swanson's offered a lot of information to allow me to decide on this one. And the important morsel of info I can offer.... I like it. I don't fry much, so don't need much oil sitting around. These 16 ounces should last me as many as 6 months or more. The "shelf life" is that long or more. Yea for me!

Great oil, good deal
I looked high and low for a better deal or better oil - and couldn't find either. Macadamia nut oil is very healthful, very versatile and useful.
I use it in a mix of oils for home-made (healthy!) mayonnaise and other salad dressings - you cannot buy store-bought dressings or mayonnaise without unhealthy ingredients, including undesirable vegetable oils.

Using macadamia oil in my brownies>vegetable oil. It's a healthier oil & adds more flavor & dimension to all types of brownies. I won't use anything else anymore...

Not Very Good Purchase
The oil is somewhat watery in taste. When mixing in some salad, the taste was oily and lacked the flavor. Without this oil, my salad (coleslaw) tasted better.

great product but...
love the oil but don't like the bottle. I had to pour it into another bottle as the original bottle drips down the sides.

Healthy oil choice
This is a great alternative to olive oil. It has a mild flavor.

The macadamia oil was percolating due to "loosen lid"

this is the best oil I have ever tasted. the nutty flavor is just fantastic. It is so good I can take it right out of the bottle. I also understand it is very healthy. That gives it a double + .....

Nice mild nutty flavor and smell. Very vesatile and healthy oil that I use with eggs, chicken etc... I seem to get it on my hands every time I use it, but that may just be a personal problem!

I usually buy the NOW brand of macadamia nut oil and use it for frying fish for my son who is on a special diet. Fish leaves a terrible smell when cooking and the aroma of macadamia nut oil is very pleasing. I tried the Swanson brand since it cost less and I will never do that again. It does not smell good at all and has a different texture to it. Unfortunately I bought two bottles I will never use.

As food ingredient
I bought this oil to make Vegan butter with, but still need to use it as an independent ingredient to check the flavor outcome. Anyhow, this is a good oil for salads too. This oil as a very concentrated flavor, which means you can use less of it, more than more. This is indeed value for money.

Great flavor and very healthful. Almost no linoleic acid, even better than olive oil!

Love this stuff! Got it after reading that it was better to use cooking than other oils, has far more health benefits due to retaining them during heating, and tastes great.
I use it to cook almost anything and everything. The taste isn't too fragrant to me, no overwhelming flavor of nut, but just enough to add depth to what you're making. The only complaint, I can't get it locally, and the bottle is a good size, but always afraid I'm going to run out before I receive my new one!
Love it, we only use this to cook and find it exceptional for meat and veggie dishes.
