IF YOU HAVE TO BE A WUSS. . . . . . .
I have used and recommended Flaxseed Oil for over 50 years. I have no issue with taking about a big Tblsp size swig out of the bottle, which I keep in the door of my refrigerator, every morning. If I had any health / physical problems, I would take a full ounce, which is 2 Tblsps, - - - one morning and one night.
I do not like using the High Lignan liquid Flaxseed Oil, because I have found that the Lignans settle out into a thick, tar-like layer in the bottom of the bottle, and they won't come out. However, the Lignans have important nutritional value. What to do, what to do?? Personally, I just pass on the Lignans myself and get the tremendous good out of the ALA, Alpha Linolenic Acid, Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acid, that the Flaxseed Oil provides.
I was at the Ophthamologist's office a few weeks ago, and she was very positively impressed by the excellent condition of my eyes (since I'm an old guy). This led to us talking about holistic health, wellness, and natural nutrition. And that led us to talking about Flaxseed Oil. We covered its tremendous values, dosages, and forms.
I told her to take a Tblsp every morning. She said she couldn't. She said she was afraid she would throw it up. I told her she was a big wuss, and to get with the program. I asked her if she wanted to take 15 big capsules or learn to take 1 Tblsp of Oil. She was still leaning toward the capsules. So I told her to go on Swanson's website and order this finest Flaxseed Oil capsule with the Lignans. I am very in favor of the Lignans in the Flaxseed Oil capsules. I told her to take 3 or 4 each morning and night. The 1 or 2 regular capsules she was using just weren't cutting it. She agreed. Actually, she promised she would do this. . . . Then she admonished me to be sure to wear polarized sunglasses everyday when I go outside. I promised her that I would.

Recommended by my doctor.
My doctor feels that it is a good idea to take flaxseed oil and these compare well in content to other more expensive brands that I have purchased in the past. They arrive quickly and in great shape. They also digest well without aftertaste.

Less is more
My husband is trying to do more with less pills. It is hard to feel the effectiveness of this one in your body. This one will reduce some larger fish oil pills. Yea - less pills. Yea - less fish contaminate worries - yea less fish killed. Yea - plants should contain less contaminates and be safer.

Disappointed
When my friend muscle tested me using this product, it tested very weak. She had also purchased this product from Swanson's for herself and also for her neighbor with the same result. We both tested strong using another brand. I have used many of Swanson's products with great success, however. We are very curious as to why this one is so ineffective.

Great product
I love this Flaxseed. It taste good and not too heavy. I tried other flaxseed but Swansons flaxseed is the best one I tried. I will definately keep using this one from Swanson.

Good product
I have tried other Flaxseed oil but after using Swansons I will never go back. This products is great and gives me energy. I take one a day. The capsulse are good size for me.I love this flagseed oil. i will be trying the flagseed the next time so I can use it with my cereal. Thanks Swanson for bringing us great products.

Great product
I love taking this brand of flax seed capsules. They are easy to swallow and I've noticed how much of a difference in the way my skin looks and feel which is a plus. I recommend this product.

EXCELLANT
This is a great product, take the recommended dosage for the real benefit, I was only taking one and when I started taking 2 twice a day then I saw a real difference in my hips and knees.

Great value. Helps my skin and eyes
My skin is a lot less dry taking this supplement, and my eyes are less dry too. I take 2 every day, and immediately feel the difference when I skip a day.

good product
Except for the fact that the bottle leaks back when you pour the oil out and gets messy, the product is a good way to get the Omega 3 fatty acids.

Better Choice
I like this flaxseed product because it provides omega-3's without worrying about mercury contamination as you would get from fish products. Although this is less bio-available and harder for the human system to utilize, it's still better than taking my chances with fish. Also the fact that it contains lignans is a plus since many health benefits have been attributed to flaxseed lignans.

think before you buy
As far as I know this product is great.. I give it to my dog..
