It works if you do
I've written two positive, detailed reviews for this product but have never seen them published here. Therefore, this will be quick and to the point [besides my battery is about to die]. . . , I've read others reviewed on this product and the negative ones are the result of those people want to do things "the easier, softer way." In other words, this isn't some miracle pill that's gonna do all the work for you—you have to help it along. I watch my fat intake and it's become a habit and way of life now to always read labels to check the fat content, trying to keep it under 20 grams per day. I try the light, low-fat, or fat-free versions of products and was surprised at how palatable a lot of them are (believe me when I say there are lots that are horrible too). I certainly found that fat-free sour cream is delicious if you mix an envelope of dry onion soup with it with Pringles fat free chips, or whatever other low fat chips you desire. Dieting sucks but it doesn't have to be hard or make you miserable. I use the chitosan as a "help" to a low-fat diet. I don't pig out and expect the chitosan to do all the work. This is a great product and it's the only brand I saw results with and knew I wasn't imagining it. No side effects, no fishy taste or smell. The bottom line: IT WORKS IF YOU WORK IT!

Definitely Recommend
I've been using this product for at least two years on an as needed basis. It definitely has helped me to maintain and control my weght. I just take a couple before/during/or after eating something that I might want to splurge on. You do not have to take this product prior to eating and it's easy to carry a few in your purse.

Great Product
I have only been taking this product for about 2 days. I don't know if I am losing weight yet, but I take it right before a meal, and about 10 minutes later, I begin to feel really great. I also cut down food portion size too, which is typical with dieting, but I have had no negative effects from this product. Every time I take it with food, I feel great.

GREAT FOR HEALTH
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT -One little known benefit I read about is that it is supposed to keep the upper intestines clean..........at any rate , great product to take with high fat/carb meals! keep away that heavy feeling in the gut. THANKS SWANSON!

Didn't work at all
Very disappointed with this product. I have been trying them with cheat meals over the past month or so and they haven't helped me stop gaining any weight. In fact, I seem to have gained weight back more quickly when I take them. I don't know if it is a coincidence or the pills.

Ok, if not taking fish oil
I purchased this with the hopes of taking it. However, on the packaging it says to wait at least 4 hrs after taking fish oil pills. Since I take fish oil in the am and pm, I am only taking this at lunch and thats if I remember to take it. Wish I would of read the label a little more closely.

Best I have found in 10 years
I have used many types of chitosan and this is a product I will continue to purchase as long as it

It works!
This stuff does what it says. I actually did a little test in a glass with vegetable oil. The capsules break open and ABSORB THE OIL! Imagine that working in your belly after eating an indulgent meal! This is not a diet pill-but it definitely can help you manage your weight. I reorder this often.

So far, no results
After checking out all the reviews on this product I was curious and ordered. It's been almost one week taking it and I am not loosing weight, at all, somedays I gain a few more pounds!
I changed my diet, really watching my sugar/carb intake, including more fiber, fruits and veggies.
And I try to eliminate processed foods and white flour/sugar. Next step after I get rid of my fatigue and get some energy back I want to get back into regularly exercising.
I might as well keep trying the product though. I find it inconvenient because I take fish oils and vitamin D and have to plan 4 hours in advance or after in taking them.

I'm very happy with it!!!
I'm using this product all for quite a long time now. But I don't use it with EACH meal, I take it only when I eat something that contain a lot of fat! It seems to me that it works very well, I noticed that when I take it I don't gain as much weight as I would WITHOUT it! And value is super, very good price and great quality.

Excellent Product
This chitosan seems to have full bio-availability and works the way it's supposed to. I have tried other brands that don't break down well and are more expensive. This is a good addition for someone learning to eat clean or just wants to eat something that may contain a bit too mush fat.

It really helps me!
