Source Naturals OptiZinc delivers 30 mg of zinc in each tablet. Zinc is a trace element which is essential for normal growth, development of the reproductive organs, normal functioning of the prostate gland and the manufacture of proteins and nucleic acids (the building blocks for RNA and DNA). It is also necessary for over 100 different enzyme systems in the body.

Suitable for vegetarians. Contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, corn, soy or wheat. Contains no sugar, starch, salt, preservatives or artificial color, flavor or fragrance.

Appears to work I don’t know if it is the placebo effect, but I do notice a slight difference. My hair and nails seem to be healthier. I might be crazy, but I think my libido has improved somewhat significantly. (I’m 52). I have not been able to go to the gym since I bought these (unrelated event), so I can’t comment on the “recovery” effect. October 23, 2012
