God, I Love This Product!
Wonderful alternative to disposable pads and tampons.
-Very comfortable (if inserted correctly; it may take you a few tries to get it right. But once you're there, trust me, you really can't feel it at all!)
-Can be worn up to 12 hours. Though I usually change it every eight or so during use, just to be on the safe side.
-Can be worn while swimming, jogging, and pretty much every other physical activity you can think of.
-Never had any leaks yet.
-No risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome! YAYY!!
-No chemicals or dioxins or anything else nasty!
-Haven't had any infections or irritation so far.
-Great for travel.
-Also great for exercise/sports.
-I swear, these cups hold well over an ounce. So they definitely stand up to heavy flows. (I don't have an especially heavy flow myself. Just saying.)
-May not be for women who have problems with insertion. Personally this is not an issue for me but it's something to be aware of.
-You're still throwing away something every time you use this product. So I save it for long trips, heavier flow days when I don't feel like dealing with pads, and use washable cloth pads most of the time.
Love, love, LOVE these! I highly recommend them!

I have used softcyps for about 10 years and have loved them! My doctor recommended them after I got TSS, as the safer alternative. They are comfortable, and so easy to use! I love this product and will continue to use it and recommend it to all my friends/family!

I tried these recently and I love these things. I have a heavy period and had to change my tampon like every hour and a half I can wear these a lot longer than that and its so cool that you can actually get intimate with ur partner with them in and not get blood on them

New to this, but loving it so far!
I just started to use the Softcup (disposable) this cycle. So far its been great, very easy to learn to use. It is more comfortable to insert than a tampon. I recommend practicing on days when you do not have your period, or on the first day when its very light. Tomorrow will begin the heavy days for me, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I had been considering trying a menstrual cup but thought the mess wouldn't be worth it.
I bought a box and am hooked. So much more comfortable physically and mentally! I practically forget about it all day. There is like no leakage on normal days unlike tampons because there isn't a string to soak it up and leak. Urge any woman to give them a fair shot

Good on light to medium days, but look out on heav
I just purchased this product for this month's period. I will be traveling in the summertime, while on my period, and was looking for a product that could give me a little more freedom (swimming mostly). The cup is wonderful on light to medium days (the first two and last two days of my period) but on my one heavy day, it failed. The best way to describe it is when I was standing it was fine, no leaks, but when I sat down, it was like popping a balloon (or your water breaking) and I felt the cup give way and the flow come right on out. Luckily, since this was my first time using them, I was wearing a backup liner. One good thing is, usually on the morning of my heavy day, when I get out of bed, I have a gush of blood from having been lying down all night and even with a pad and tamron, it would be running down my legs before I got to the bathroom, but the cup kept it contained, with no leaking until I got to the bathroom, making for a mess free morning!
Bottom line, use them on light to medium days and you will only need to empty it at night, but if you plan on using it on heavy days, use backup and plan to empty it at least once an hour, especially if you sit for a long time or if you've been standing for a long time and then sit down.

I saw this product in the store and thought I'd give it a shot. I have been told since I was young that my cervix is tipped so I did have some concern. Tried it anyway and guess what...I couldn't get the darn thing out. My fiancé had to retrieve it for me. Otherwise I would've been on my way to the ER.

Great Everyday Leak Free Cup
I am so glad, I was introduced to this menstrual product. I actually was looking up the Diva cup when I found out about Softcup. I tried the two free samples and after that I never bought another tampon again. I can wear my favorite outfits again and not worry about leaks for at least 12-hours is very awesome feature of Softcup.

This may just change my life...
I just learned about these, and honestly, this product may just change my life. I tried these yesterday, and am a convert. It was hard to get in the first time, but I am sure it will get easier with practice. I wore it for 7 hours with no discomfort or leaking. (I took it out before going to bed).
And I really like the idea of the reusable ones (I have used reusable cloth pads for over 20 years!). I am also thrilled by the idea of being able to have have clean sex. I mean, not messy. :) This may just change my life. (Or at least my sex life!)
Thank you for this product!

Great for depo bleeding!
Since my first shot of depo I've had the side effect of bleeding and it's now 6 months later. Wonderful birth control in the sense I never could have sex because of always bleeding. I came across this in my search for mess free sex during menstration. I can't believe I've never herd of this before, it's wonderful! Not only are my boyfriend and I able to have sex I don't have to worry about it for hours! I've gone through so many boxes of tampons because of my depo bleeding and with this I don't have to constantly change it, and I can't even feel it's in! I didn't find it's messy to remove, but I'm also not bleeding like an actual period right now.

I received my trials and I love them!!! No problems, no hassles, no mess. I think I am in love.

First, I want to say that I never ever write reviews but I had to this time. I just purchased my first box of soft cups today and I have to say I am so happy. I had no issues with inserting, no leakage at all and no issues removing the cup. All I can say is I wish I got this sooner and that I will never go back to tampons or pads. Thank you soft cups!

I've been on softcups for 2 years now, and I will NEVER go back to tampons. I really can't believe that my period pain has gone down since switching-- it is a SIGNIFICANT change in experiencing my usually painful periods. Tampons are a thing of the past! No more! Cheers to softcups and no longer feeling controlled by my period every month!
No dryness, smell, discomfort, or pain anymore. I feel liberated.

I received a softcup sample with two softcups in the mail and I was very excited! I was happy to not have the uncomfortable feeling of tampons but BOY WAS I WRONG! All the softcup did was make a giant mess and do nothing! It was the most UNCOMFORTABLE thing ever. I followed the instructions perfectly and watched many videos on how to insert the softcup but when I went to take it out it made a mess. It did not collect any of the blood. I was extremely mortified and upset. Worst experience ever.

I love this product so much I want to be their spokesperson. I hated wearing tampons so much I refused to wear them and I created my own moderately working alternative. I am so glad I found Softcups they eliminate wet strings, odor and leakage for 12 hours. I have told everyone I know about this product.I am forever in debt to the inventor of this product. Thank you so much!!!

I bought softcup for the first time about a week ago and I am very pleased with how comfortable the product is, i can't even feel it once inserted! I have a heavier flow, and the most difficult part was removing the softcup, as it tends to get pretty messy.

for me uncomfortable
I have used reusable cups and thought I would try this one too. I was also curious about the claim that you can use it even during intercourse. I had no problem at all taking it in or out. EASY. It stayed put. AWESOME. (I have had two vaginal births and Im in my 40's…I have problems with tampons sliding down and other cups shifting) As with ANY cup it is always nice to have a private sink nearby for dumping or washing. Thats why being able to leave it in 12 hours is appealing. If facilities are not there being able to dispose and replace the cup is a nice and preferred option. I have not even tried it for sex because I find it uncomfortable just wearing it. NOBODY else in any of the reviews has complained of feeling it inside. Just me. Others have complained about it being too big and sticking out. This is not the case for me. It goes in fine and stays put better than anything else. I want to love it but i can feel a dull rubbing when I walk. I can't explain the feeling well and can only compare the feeling it to an unborn baby pushing against my cervix. It's not painful but it is a dull annoying "bruising" type feeling. I guess it is too big for me??? I would recommend this to other women to try because I think it is a great product. Sounds like my problem with it is rare. I'll keep searching. Maybe the company can start making a smaller size as well?

It takes some experimenting but it's well worth it
I was very skeptical like others when I first came across this product right around the time I went to basic training. Like the female cop I too had a problem with leaks when I bear down during strenuous activities. I also found it messy when changing. So like many others I abandoned it. I have very heavy cycles and even the most absorbent tampons will last me less than two hours. Frustrated at the need to change and never really being a fan of pads I saw Softcups in the store and bought them with some tampons. It took me several tries but I finally got changing them down. But I still had a problem with spillage when straining. Finally I stumbled on this fix. On non-strenuous days or after working out I use just the cup. When I know I am going to be straining I use the cup and add a tampon. I no longer have a problem with spillage. Now the problem I have is finding stores that carry Softcups. Frustrated again I decided just to shop on line. Thanks for a great product. I'd give it a five star rating if I did not have to deal with the spillage problem. I am really glad you made reusable ones.

Why have I waited so long?
I have just tried Softcup for the first time, and can't believe that I waited for so long! A friend had told me about it a few years ago, but I was reluctant, and convinced tampons were better. Well, NO MORE! I will NEVER use a tampon again. Softcup was easy to use, never leaked (despite strenuous workouts) and overall the best menstrual product on the market. Fabulous.

I have been using Instead Softcup for about two years now. A friend of mine told me about them and the Diva Cup. I tried both, but due to allergies I couldn't wear the Diva Cup comfortably. Instead Softcup has been an absolute lifesaver for me. My cycle was always too heavy to wear tampons for any length of time and I can't stand the feeling of pads. With the Instead, I can go about my day without any fear leaking through or any strings showing! It is such a comfortable menstrual item and I don't have any adverse reactions to wearing it. Honestly, it is the only item for a cycle that I HAVEN'T leaked through. Most of the time, I can't even tell it's there! I have certainly started spreading the word through my gal pal crowd about it, too!

Best product on the market!
I started using this product about a year ago and I will never, ever go back to using any other period product! I am an extremely busy college girl, so I do not always have the time to change what I am using for my period when I use the bathroom, so I absolutely love that this product can be within your vagina for 12 hours so then I change it when I wake up and go to bed. Due to the fact that it is so comfortable, I do not mind having it all day. I also found it pretty easy to learn how to use (the instructions helped a lot the first couple of times). I actually find this product easier to insert than tampons. Another thing that makes this product great is that it has no string, which makes bathroom visits a lot faster and easier than when I would use a tampon. Softcup also has no odor whatsoever, so no more worrying about how you smell while on your period! Lastly, this product is great because the company is great! If you have any questions at all, you can call the customer service and a real person will talk to you then or call you back. Now, that is what I call service!
The few cons (that I would not consider big, but maybe some people would): when you use the bathroom, it does move a little bit so you may have to readjust it after using the bathroom, if you put it in upside-down (it should look like a cup, with the clear plastic side facing closest to the floor) or else you will experience a spill (you would not pour liquid into a cup when it is upside-down, so do not put your cup in upside-down or you may experience an embarrassing moment like me), and you just completely forget that you are on your period while using this product because it is so comfortable and clean to use (which may be troublesome for some).
Some suggestions: have wipes handy if you are going to change your cup in a public restroom because it is a little messy when you take it out, squeeze the cup together when you take it out (like when you put it in) to avoid any pain while taking it out, use a pad while getting used to it since it does not absorb anything so a leak that you may encounter is a bit bigger than one with a tampon, and the first few times you put the cup in or take it out, it will take some time, so have a little bit of time set out for that.
In my opinion, this is the best product on the market for periods (I have tried tampons, pads, and other cups) and I will never use anything else! This is a revolutionary period product!
