Thank you! I love this product. Thank you Swansons! March 18, 2014
God, I Love This Product! Wonderful alternative to disposable pads and tampons. Pros: -Very comfortable (if inserted correctly; it may take you a few tries to get it right. But once you're there, trust me, you really can't feel it at all!) -Can be worn up to 12 hours. Though I usually change it every eight or so during use, just to be on the safe side. -Can be worn while swimming, jogging, and pretty much every other physical activity you can think of. -Never had any leaks yet. -No risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome! YAYY!! -No chemicals or dioxins or anything else nasty! -Haven't had any infections or irritation so far. -Great for travel. -Also great for exercise/sports. -I swear, these cups hold well over an ounce. So they definitely stand up to heavy flows. (I don't have an especially heavy flow myself. Just saying.) Cons: -May not be for women who have problems with insertion. Personally this is not an issue for me but it's something to be aware of. -You're still throwing away something every time you use this product. So I save it for long trips, heavier flow days when I don't feel like dealing with pads, and use washable cloth pads most of the time. Love, love, LOVE these! I highly recommend them! Finally a normal life again I have a sensitive body. I used the same brand of tampons for 17 years. One day the packaging was different- now more absorbent and with natural cotton. Soon after I started getting bad bouts with BV. And dryness with sex. This began a three year nightmare of chronic BV infections every month :( my OBGYN eventually wrote me a prescription with 6 refills. At my wits end I did some research to see if there was something I was doing wrong or eating etc causing the BV found it was most likely the tampons. The chemicals that absorb can throw off PH and dry you out. Tried softcup. With the first month - no BV - one year later still not one recurrence of BV. And the dry sex went away too. Went for well women exam today- told my OBGYN - she loved them never heard of them called her other doc partner in my exam room to discuss. Wished someone had told them about says she sees a lot of patients with chronic BV and will start giving them a sample. Was so glad I told her. If we helped one lady today to avoid this horribly embarrassing situation - I am so happy. I did tell her you have to be super comfortable with your body and blood but still a better trade off than chronic BV April 24, 2015
I wish I had discovered it years ago!! I just found disposable Softcups at my local grocer and bought them out of curiosity. I had read a lot of good reviews and so far, Softcups lives up to those reviews! I love the 12 hour protection and how easy it is to use. I even texted my 26 year old daughter today to recommend them. Great job! April 15, 2015
tried to love it Disappointed.I tried this like a year ago no luck w it I slept in it BC it says lasts 12 hours, it leaked really bad. I tried it this second time and I put it in exactly like the video and still it moved around. I worked out in it this morning and gave it another try. No leaks but having to remove it once an hour doesn't work for me. Its like filling a ziploc w liquid it collapses w the littlest amount. First time and second putting it in took a half and hour. A tampon or pad i feel more protected at least when using together. Another thing pads and tampons take 5 minutes which is usual for a bathroom break. I lovee d that it was more comfortable but maybe I'm that percentage who can't wear them. April 12, 2015
steep learning curve but great! I first bought them last year after being cleared to use tampons for my first period after delivery by C-section. I didn't really like them and switched to cloth pads. A year later I decided to try those I had left over. It worked this time, and I love them now. The added bonus is the fact I don't have to stop being intimate like I did before. I now can be intimate with my husband all month. April 11, 2015
Bought today and love it On the advise of a friend I bought this to try. Let me tell you I love it. I read the directions did on line research and I wore it up to 8 hours before leakage which is awesome compared to how often I changed tampons. With my flow I didn't expect the 12. I recommend that everyone should try this. I really believe the key to the leakage issues some have is learning their cervix and assuring its in correctly. Also I checked it a few times during the day to assure it was still in place because I completely forgot I was even on my cycle. I will be using this again. April 10, 2015
Unsure I'm still highly unsure with this product. I only get my period every 3 months so by the time I remember to buy products, it's already here and I can't wait for shipping. I love the idea of menstrual cups and these are the only one my local stores carry so Ive settled on buying these a second time. I have yet to have that ah ha moment that these are amazing, they're just average. Insertion is tricky, you have to pinch the sides and insert, and then move down the rim still pinching and make sure you don't have any skin in it or you can accidentally pinch yourself :/ Once in I can not feel it at all. I have only worn these with back up liners and thankfully so. I have yet to have a leak free day. Too start once it's securely in, I followed the directions to a T, today I was able to get through 3 hours before taking it out on my third bathroom visit, I noticed leaking, which it says is common, however the "leakage" is still in your canal after, so you will just continue to have it come out, so back up protection is needed. Generally at this time I switch to a tampon. The other problem is once you take out the cup, it's a mess. Some of the blood that was in the cup is left behind so when you go to insert a new one it's not they prettiest thing, and if you accidentally tip the cup on insertion you need to start at the beginning, so when you pull it out, it's messy. When choosing bathrooms in public, go with the handicap that has a sink otherwise I don't know how they except you to maintain a clean hand. The packaging size is not discreet. I have not tried sex with these, sine I do not see how your partner will not be able to feel it, you shove your finger up there and you can feel it, and fingers aren't very girthy sooooo I do not have that is suppose to attractive to either party member! When you can feel what's suppose to be distracting you from the fact that your on your period. I am definately going to buy a different menstrual cup and give it a shot my next period. There is a money back guarantee, which I will be taking them up on, but everyone's different so it may work better for some than others, and you really don't have anything to lose trying. April 10, 2015
hard The soft cup is actually one of my favorite cups, however if it was softer it'd be the only cup I use. The rims tend to be painful when taking out, which is why I had to search for a softer alternative. If the rims weren't as hard, soft cup would easily be the b rest and easiest to use menstrual cup, because it works really well even with how it is at the moment. Please make softer rims !! April 3, 2015
Finally! I don't know how I've gone so long with out hearing about this product, it is amazing! I can't feel it when I wear it, clean sex is possible while on your period and you don't have to run to the restroom every few hours to change it. I will definitely be telling every girl friend I have about it. Very satisfied with my purchase. March 25, 2015
A few helpful things. Today is the first day with a SC. Insertion is a bit tricky but it doesn't leak at all. I am kind of afraid to insert it any further. Removal is messy but I guess it takes practice. Overall very pleased with the instead reusable softcup. Haven't tried intercourse yet though. I'm going to recommend this to a lot of people. March 16, 2015
Great Product I bought Softcup because a friend said it works for her. I have been using it for the last couple of cycles. I am so glad she told me about it. I can wear it during exercise without worries. I have tried many brands of tampons, none of them work as well as Softcup. March 14, 2015
First time user I had dine research for about a week before purchasing shortcut. I made sure that I reviewed the video tutorials multiple times to make sure that I could perform the insertion properly. I used the shortcut because my husband and I planned a romantic evening which happened to be the day that my menstrual cycle began. I love this product no leakage and he did not feel a thing. Removal was also very simple although I thought it would be more difficult. I do appreciate the amount of information provided on the website! So read it all ladies inform yourself before using it. I only experienced leakage once and that was due to the way I had incorrectly positioned the softcup. If you insert it correctly it's perfect for every occasion. I love it! March 14, 2015
The worth product on the market I got this a week ago. As a health care professional I wanted to try it first before making recommendations to my patients. I inserted it in “hooked it” behind the pubic bone and…….. it popped out. I checked it was positioned right in a “dimple” behind the cervix. I wasn’t going to risk my night so I pulled it out. The devise is too big and it does NOT “take a shape of your body” as advertised. I tried to call customer service – got response “our mailbox is full ---------bye". They "really stand behind their product".. March 1, 2015
Best Feminine Product I've Ever Used I started using Softcup during my last cycle and was so relieved to find this product. Since a teen, I've been using tampons, because I hate the feeling that I'm wearing a diaper. However, I never knew just how uncomfortable tampons were until I tried the Softcup. This is the most comfortable feminine product. I don't even know it's there. It holds more than a tampon, is more comfortable, and is easier to use. Beyond that, my cycle is shorter when I use these, because instead of acting like a cork, it just collects. I will never go back to tampons. Thank you! February 28, 2015
I wanted to love it I was thrilled to see Softcup next to the box of OB tampons I usually buy. Since I use insertable tampons, I wasn't worried about some blood on my finger. (I've given birth, I've had sexed, I'm well past being ooged out by body fluids - in moderation.) Also, since I've used a diaphragm, and later a nuvaring successfully for birth control, I was confident in my ability to properly insert, place, and remove the cup. I even weight the cost of the Softcup vs the tampons and decided it was a great purchase. I bought just the Softcups. I inserted the Softcup, finished getting ready for work, and forgot about it. I couldn't feel it, but on my way to work (an hour drive), I knew something was horribly wrong and I would have to stop at the bathroom before I went to my desk. I knew I was a bloody mess, I just didn't know how bad it was. Once in the stall, my fears were confirmed. Major leakage. Thankfully, it was "Jeans Day," and - my panties and inside of jeans were a mess. I didn't know whether the cup leaked, had overflown, or I inserted it improperly. I pulled the cup out (keeping the directions in mind as well as the thought that it could be very full), and that's when the horror began. The cup wasn't full when it came out, it was flat, and the blood went EVERYWHERE. My hand was covered, so when I went to retrieve toilet paper and throw the Softcup into the bin, I got blood on the outside of my jeans, the bin, the wall, the floor! I thought I'd just try again, and took the second soft cup out of it's packaging, but trying to insert a cup in an area that's covered in blood, was just ridiculous. Seriously, like a scene in a horror movie. I tried to clean it all up but the grout in the tile floor will remain stained. Later, I found blood I missed on the outside of my jeans. I was lucky enough to have a spare tampon in my backpack, and a few in my desk at work. I'll be taking you up on your money back guarantee. February 28, 2015
Go back to the drawing board I bought a sample and was excited to try this because I read on the site you can still have intercourse while it's inserted. When my period came I tried it out, I watched the tutorial and made sure I was doing it right. It was really painful and thick, but I assumed it was my body that was not comfortable and probably tightened up from the alien object going in me. I pushed it down and it fit just right before my pelvic bone. I had no issues with leaking, but when I went bathroom about two hours later I squirted blood out and it worried me. I took the cup out and switched to a tampon for now. Then later when it was time to switch again, I put the 2nd sample in and this time insertion was easier, but the plastic is still very stiff and uncomfortable. When I had to go bathroom again, globs of blood gushed out. I struggled a lot this time to get it out, my fingers were too slippery from the blood to properly hook the ring and pull it out. Eventually I had to put a latex glove on and try again. I managed to get it out but blood got everywhere. I'm thankful I worked from home today, because dealing with this at the office would have been an awful experience. This product needs a soft ring and a new way to really collect the blood only and not be such a messy process getting out. February 27, 2015
BEST. PURCHASE. EVER. I am 20 and have always used pads during this lovely stretch of pain we have to endure once a month. I was turned onto tampons and after trying relentlessly, found that it is just impossible for me to wear them without pain. I did some research and impulsively bought my first box of softcups two days ago and I am IN LOVE. It's like its not there:) highly recommended from this user :) although I haven't gotten the hang of a 'clean removal' I figure it's just preparing me for if I ever have to amputate a limb being unpleasantly messy. 10 outta 10 February 21, 2015
great for active ladies I have always hated tampons.I get headaches with them and they are uncomfortable for me.Im also a weightlifter and general fitness lover so pads are inconvenient.I decided to try soft cups on a whim and love them!i dont feel it,it stays put throughout everything and i can also have sex.Im ditching tampons for good. :) February 19, 2015
So Easy! I love this product! I was a little iffy on giving it a try...but I am so glad that I did! It makes it seem like it is any other day of the month and lets me go about my normal activities without having to worry. February 16, 2015
Where have these been all my life. I'm a paramedic and these have changed Le Everything. I work 12-16 hour shifts with a lot of strenuous lifting and little access to a toilet at convenient times during that time of the month. Needless to say I was skeptical that softcups would keep up/be practical or easy to use during the course of my workday, let alone be comfortable. I finally had enough of using tampons and decided to give softcups a try on a day off - wow. It practically inserted itself and once it was in I couldn't feel a thing. I then left it in overnight and didn't have a single leak, so far so good. The part I was worried about was taking it out having heard all the horror stories about them being difficult to remove but seriously all it took was reaching in, finding the edge of the ring and pulling down just enough to break the seal - the rest just followed. At this point I was pretty impressed, so I decided to go live with the real thing: wearing one through an entire shift working ambulance. This thing held up for the the entire.day. We are talking multiple heavy lifts, bearing down, on my feet all day and one trip to the bathroom at 10 hours in where there was just the tiniest bit of spotting. What can I say, I'm sold. Never going back. February 14, 2015
One size does not fit all.. I'm extremely disappointed this product is not available in more than one size. I was intimidated, but figured I'd give it a shot. If you've ever had issues with your OB using an "average" sized speculum during your yearly, I'm going to go ahead and say this product is NOT for you. February 13, 2015
i prefer tampons My friend loves softcup and i wanted to try it because all i had ever used was a tampon. So i used one looking forward to the 12 hours of protection and it didn't even last 4 hours before leakage began. I am 13 but i have had my period for 2 years. February 12, 2015
