Good but lacking
I did like the flavor and did eat all 4 bags in a week's time. But it takes a long long time to soften some of the pieces because honestly folks, it is as hard as a plastic piece in your mouth. I had severe tooth aches a couple of times so I slowed down a bit. These are tasty and good and a third of the package contains softer pieces. Also for the money I paid I got such small small tiny bags of it. I would expect the price to be about half of what I paid for it on sale recently. Doesn't soften in your mouth as fast as other meat jerkies. So not on my next list.

Rock Hard
Out of the bag, it's rock hard. After soaking the salmon jerky in hot soup for 15 minutes, it's like leather.

It is salmon jerky
Probably good to have on hand with other "emergency type rations". Not Really a very enjoyable jerky, but then of course, it is salmon jerky.

Wild Alaskin Salmon
Buy plenty! This stuff is awesome.
I have replaced this with any beef jerky and it's perfect for camping. If you find this hard to chew just refrigerate it and it's crisp.

Not a fan
Very tough and a bit too salty, even for jerky. Makes a good high protein snack, but you'll be chewing for a long, long time.

Excellent!
I tried Natural Salmon Jerky because my daughter and I have been eating more fish instead of meat. In the past we enjoyed beef jerky, but have not eaten any beef jerky for quite a while. This jerky is delicious and worth a try. I have searched for lower prices, but Swanson has the best deal every time!

Yummy
This jerky is nicely seasoned, good smoke and pepper flavors give it a nice kick. It is a rather tough jerky, so you you have to chew it for awhile, but that's how jerky is supposed to work. When you open the bag you may think it has a strong fish smell, but the taste in the mouth is a nice, mellow smoked fish flavor, and presumably you're considering buying this because you like fish!
