Exposure three times a week is recommended.
This package contains 12 sensors, an average 30-day supply.
- Prior to sun exposure, apply Vitamin D Activation Sensor on to clean, dry skin or clothing. Place sensor where it will receive direct sunlight. Do not apply sunscreen to skin or sensor before going into the sun.
- Expose bare arms and legs to bright, mid-day sun between 10:00am and 4:00pm. Protection of sun sensitive areas, like the face, is recommended. Exposure of 25% or more of the body’s total skin surface is necessary.
- Optimal vitamin D absorption is attained when the sensor turns red and the sun design disappears. The time of the color change will vary based on the sun's intensity - less bright light extends the exposure period. Immediately apply sunscreen or seek cover as soon as the sensor indicates optimal absorption.
Caution: Sensor is intended for use as a general guide to Vitamin D development for average/medium skin types. Absorption results may vary depending upon each body’s ability to metabolize Vitamin D. Sensor may not adhere properly to certain fabrics. Do not apply sunscreen or any other substance to the sensor face, as this may adversely affect performance.
Warning: Choking hazard. Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age. Store at room temperature.
