Free + Clear Diapers Stage 5
These diapers are absorbant enough and with the environmental friendliness that we should all cherish. I recommend this product because it does the job without hurting the environment as much as Pampers or Huggies.

I want to like these diapers because I'm sure they're gentler on the planet, but they're just not absorbent enough for me to use unless I'm going to stay home and wait for the next wet diaper. My baby just won't put up with the wetness for very long because it's sitting right next to her skin. Occasionally it leaks out the back. On the other hand, the fit is pretty good.

Bring back the old Diapers!!!
We exclusively CDed our twins until about 10 months. During an extended, 2 week, power outage we purchased our first disposables. Of the 3 natural-ish brands we bought, Seventh Gen was our favorite by far. We loved them so much that we soon completely phased out cloth. I'm thrilled to say that my extremely sensitive skinned preemies (and now toddlers) have NEVER had a diaper rash!
Our local stores switched over to the new "touch of cloth" diapers last week. While I do like the new padding and they seem slightly more absorbent, the sizing is now much smaller. The 5s are listed as 27+ lbs. and my 23 & 24lb. toddlers don't fit! Both are big, but not chunkers and nowhere near Buddha babies. This is made even worse by the no-longer-grippy tabs that come off if you look at them wrong. My primary complaint is the new outer material. It's extremely scratchy. Both my guys have raw patches where the elastic hits and around their bellies. Still no official "rash" in the crotch area, but this has gotten pretty bad fast!
Honestly, I didn't read how this new formation was better and I don't care. We are too far away from PT so I've ordered what's left of the old ones, that I can find, and we'll have to switch. We still use the overnights, but this new diaper is not an improvement for us.

FSC diapers are leaking
First of all, we love 7th generation products. We use all purpose sprays, bathroom cleaners, baby wipes and diapers. Thus far, the diapers have been fantastic. But, we just switched from size 2 to size 3 and the branding on the packaging now says FSC. The past 4 times we have changed her diaper, she has completely leaked through. It is not out the sides but it is as if there just isn't enough fluff pulp in there to absorb everything? I am really sad because I love 7th generation and just purchased a bulk box with 5 packages of diapers. But, sadly, I think we are going to have to switch to a different brand. 7th Generation: is there something I might be missing? Is there something different with the diapers now that they are branded as FSC? Are the size 3 less absorbent?

Newborn isn't for newborns!
We bought the newborn size before our baby was born knowing that our cloth diapers wouldn't fit right away. Our son was 7 lb 4 oz at birth and grew to 8 pounds by 2 weeks old. These diapers, which claimed to fit up to 10 pounds, gave us blowouts at the legs, forcing us to run to the store and buy some Pampers. These finally fit him without issue when he was 10 pounds and we had little use for them as the cloth diapers now fit as well. Beware if you have a skinny-legged LO!

They are much more compact so packing them in the diaper bag takes up less room and they have not leaked for even the biggest "explosions." I do have a baby girl and they seem to be perfect if you don't mind the neutral color/design.

Our daughter is 16 months old and has always worn 7th Gen diapers. No issues with diaper rash or leaks!

I have tried them all!!!
My daugther sufferred very bad rashes and sensitive skin condition. She is treated on a daily based and her dermatologist is never far away. I really tried them all and this is the best product for her. They are breathable and fit perfectly for my skinny sunshine!! Thanks a lot!

what's not to like?
For it's it's been a choice over the years between huggies and these. I just can't imagine using non-chlorine free diapers on my children's skin for the length of time they'll need diapers. We've used newborn ones to training pants and they've worked fine, neither infinitely better nor worse than any other we've tried. For us it's been about the components of the diaper. We also like the minimalist design (we were fine with the Lorax way back when. Four stars for not having a more distinct cut out for the belly button in newborn size and for not making them in premie size. Our "tall and skinny" 6lb baby drowned in the newborn size and I dreaded using conventional diapers on her but had no choice.

No more diaper rash!
My granddaughter kept getting really bad rashes, no matter how frequently she was changed, and nothing seemed to help. My daughter decided to try 7th generation diapers and wipes, and the rashes cleared up and never came back!!! Plus, these diapers work just as well as far as absorption, not leaking, etc as other brands. Very much worth the extra money!

good fit, absorbent and not smelly
Work just as good as pampers for us. These are our daytime diapers but for our heavy wetter we still need a night time diaper. I love that they dont smell. Luvs actually worked well for us too but the plastic smell is overwhelming. If they had a more absorbent night time diaper this would be our only diaper brand.

My first son is 8 weeks old, 11 lbs. We have been using 7th generation size 1 diapers for a few days. The diapers have leaked just about every time he goes to the bathroom. Poop leaks out around his legs. Wetness up the front and up the back of the diaper. I love the natural life, but how good is it for the environment if I am having to do twice as much laundry, to keep up with his soiled & wet clothes? Not satisfied..

Great absorbency and no diaper rash
I am a first time mom of a 2.5 month old boy. We tried sample packs of several of the big name brands (Pampers, Huggies, and Luvs) and experienced frequent blowouts and diaper rashes with all of them. While we have had the occasional blowout with seventh generation they are few and far between, and we've had absolutely no diaper rash. I am very pleased thus far with this brand of diapers.

Only brand we use
As far as the eco-friendly diapers go, this is by far the best and worth it. We've used about 9 different brands of diapers over the years and always come back to this brand with all 3 of our kids, sizes newborn through 5. It's worth a few extra pennies over conventional diapers. Although I give it only 4 stars because it's not as natural as its eco-friendly competitors. However, it does stand up better than those in the same price category and costs significantly less than my favorite diaper brand. So we've settled on these and have been pleased.
