Too many B's I'm really looking for B12 and B6. After getting my supply I realized that this has 400% of the recommended amount of folic acid and I've learned that folic acid can be unhealthy. This product also comes with a long list of other B vitamins (it is a big family). So ordering this was my fault but I won't get it again. There is so much new information coming out about food & supplements on a daily basis it can take a while to sift through all the studies to determine what's goo and what's not. So I'm back to hoping by eating a high nutrient diet I'll get what I need just from food. May 31, 2012
Old Standby Product For Me Great product, excellent value, trusted brand, timed release. However I wish B complexes didn't all contain 400mcg of Folic Acid, because most multivitamins also contain 400mcg. The result when taking both is 800mcg, which -- when added to the folate-fortified foods prevalent in the US -- is getting on the overly-high side. Research seems to be showing that, while adequate folate intake is important in maintaining health, it's best for most non-pregnant people to cap it at about 400mcg. February 2, 2011
