Rugby Artificial Tears Ointment relieves dry eyes and prevents further eye irritation. This lubricant ophthalmic ointment is preservative free. Active ingredients are white petrolatum lubricant (83%) and mineral oil (15%).

Uses

  • prevents furthur irritation
  • relieves dryness of the eye

Warnings

When using this product

  • do not touch tip of container to any surface to avoid contamination

Stop use and ask a doctor if

  • condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours
  • you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye

Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Directions

  • pull down the lower lid of the affected eye(s)
  • apply a small amount (1/4 inch) of ointment to the inside of eyelid

  • store at 15°-30°C (59°-86°F)
  • keep tightly closed
  • replace cap after use
  • see crimp of tube or carton for Lot Number and Expiration Date

Great product value In comparison to the big-name, more expensive eye ointments, this product does everything they do while being a substantially better value. It also seems the ointment applicator tip is slightly larger which gives better extraction control resulting in less waste. March 24, 2013

Good product for Great Price! This ointment seems to work as well as any other for 2,3,4 or more times the price.The ingredients are similar if not exactly like those more expensive options. This has been a great find for someone who must use an artificial tear ointment every night. August 25, 2011
Great eye ointment for severe dry eye due to nerve This has been the most beneficial ointment as far as being able to put it on and then fully participating in your daily life :) I is oily and have to wipe it off your surrounding eye a few minutes after you put it on and for me it lasted about an hour at a time. When I got occupied teaching it seemed to last longer. Great for longer hikes as well. The most long lasting I have found :) June 18, 2011
