More Vitamin C, Please!

To the surprise of absolutely no one, researchers have concluded that vitamin C is good for you. However, it seems many of us still aren’t getting enough of the vitamins necessary for total health. The current recommended dietary allowance of vitamin C is 75 mg for women and 90 mg for men. Several populations warrant special attention with respect for vitamin C requirements...including smokers, pregnant and lactating women and the elderly.
