Researchers gave 66 healthy men and women, aged 50 to 65, and without any cognitive impairment, either 240 mg of ginkgo extract or placebo daily for four weeks. The subjects completed a battery of tests to evaluate their mood and emotional status before supplementation and after 28 days of supplementation. Researchers noted a positive effect on the subjective emotional well-being of the subjects.
