Like High-fat Meals? Add a Whole-food Supplement

Researchers from the University of Maryland reported daily administration of a phytonutrient whole food supplement may immediately reverse the effects of a high-fat meal, according to a study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. For four weeks subjects received daily supplementation with a powdered fruit/vegetable juice concentrate, antioxidants, herbal extracts, or a placebo. Authors noted that supplementation supported healthy circulation.
