Allergen Free Protein Powder Let's face it, if we want a protein powder that isn't whey nor soy, our choices are severely limited. Thank goodness this product exists! I've only had the vanilla flavor, and I wouldn't say it's actually "vanilla" but it's tasty enough. 14g of protein plus greens - kale, spinach & dandelion greens! This hits the spot when I need a pick me up (I also drink it right after working out) and is free of all common allergens. March 12, 2013
Very good value! This powder is great! I love how many different and powerful ingredients it has. It does not taste bad at all. It is not as creamy and vanilla-y as I would have liked but it doesn't taste bad, like I said. Also, it does not have quite as much protein as a kind I used to use (also that one was more creamy and vanilla-y but more expensive). I use this every morning in a shake with blended frozen berries, chia seeds, and psyllium husks. I normally use water but it really needs coconut or almond milk to make it creamy like I like. So far this is the cheapest rice protein without allergens that I have found. August 31, 2012
Great Low Carb/Gluten Free Supplement I have been using this product for 3 months and I love it. I work out daily and I use this with some coconut milk and coconut yogurt and it is good. I noticed that mixing this item with water helps immensely with the taste. I use it with a blender cup or a blender when I mix it with frozen fruit and flax powder. I have noticed an increase in energy and it's painfully obvious when I forget to take it. I order this item from Amazon as well to save on price on occasion. August 1, 2012
Inexpensive Non-addictive High Nutrition Product I LOVE this inexpensive, high nutrition protein powder product. I was inspired to buy some after trying a sample. I was especially happy it is LOW CARB and so, for me, non-addictive. I am unable to use certain protein powders or bars as they are so sweet they trigger addictive eating. A scoop of this in a blender shaker is a perfect snack (and I sometimes add a scoop of chia seeds and some raw cacao nibs and Raw Perfect Food if I want more of a meal replacement). I recently used this product (with raw almond butter, flax and other seeds, raw cacao nibs, and ground stevia) to make some little protein nut ball snacks. They were so good! New Formula Disappoints In my humble opinion the new creamy vanilla flavor of the Rainbow Light Protein Energizer is not an improvement over the old vanilla formula. It tasted slippery to me, did not seem to mix as well with fruit smoothies and, according to the packaging, did not contain as much protein or fiber as the old formula. I do not plan to purchase this product again unless the old formula comes back on the market. June 15, 2012
