Pure & Basic Natural Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is made with tea tree oil and rosemary extract.  It contains 2% salicylic acid to control the symptoms of dandruff. It's also made with Canadian willow herb and certified organic ingredients. Safe for color treated and permed hair. Paraben, sulfate and glycol free. Cruelty free.

Directions

Apply to wet hair, gently massage into hair and scalp. Rinse. Repeat. For best results follow with Pure & Basic Anti-Dandruff Conditioner.

Good Cruelty Free Product This year I decided to go bright red with my hair color. Unfortunately, this made my already dry scalp even drier. I wanted to find an organic product (no parabens/sulfates) that would be healthier for me and my scalp without stripping my color. It is almost impossible to find an anti-dandruff shampoo that will not strip your hair color (red fades faster than others). Well, though I did notice more red coming out than when I used shampoos made for red hair, it really wasn't too bad. The key is washing your hair only a few times a week, and I also use hair products that protect my hair color. My scalp feels fresh and clean, and it doesn't lather excessively (so I KnOw it has little to no sulfates/non organic ingredients). Plus, who doesn't love the fact that it's cruelty free! Beats Oil Massages! I tried everything on my husbands dandruff. I massaged all sorts of natural oils into his head. I made him use stop using any shampoo, only conditioner. I had him wash his hair less often. I even went through one day and... VACUUMED HIS ENTIRE SCALP. Nothing worked. I mean, the vacuuming did but that is not a realistic solution. But this shampoo worked the very first time he used it!! Also, his hair was really shiny. He refuses to wear anything but black, and dandruff was really putting a damper on his outfits (he's pretty stylish). So far he's not needed the conditioner but I'm tempted to buy it because the shampoo was so amazing! February 6, 2013
