GREAT TEA
I LOVE THIS BRAND OF TEA. AND THE VARIETY (GREEN) I MIX MY TEAS. I WILL MAKE AN ICE TEA BREW OF A REGULAR BLACK/ORANGE PEKOE, GREEN, AND SOMETIMES I WILL THROW IN ON OR TWO WHITE OR OOLONG BAGS. I LIKE THE FLAVORS TOGETHER.

Green tea is my main beverage & Prince of Peace is a great value! Delightful taste and individually wrapped. Green tea promotes health in so many ways & this brand is very affordable.

Excellent tea
I enjoy the tea. Very flavorful.
One problem is that they have decreased the tea bag amount from 200 grams to 180 grams. 10 percent less tea. Would prefer higher price instead. Please update your product photo to reflect the new size.
Have been completely satisfied with Swanson Vitamins. Excellent company! Thanks.

Best
I really appreciate Swanson having this organic tea. I like strong tea so I let it steep about 20 minutes. I believe green tea is healthful and it helps my energy. At my age I need all the help I can get!

Fresh, Light-tasting, & No Bitterness
I drink a lot of green tea, iced. Using an iced tea maker makes consistent, high quality brewed iced tea every time. I'm very impressed with Prince of Peace Organic Green Tea for many reasons.
For one, the price is right! They say on the box that they "buy in enormous volume and have eliminated layers of middlemen. We do not have expensive advertising campaigns. We are glad to pass our savings on to our customers..."
Then of course there's the actual tea bag. One thing that sticks out is the unbleached, brown colored bag. Does it really make sense to be steeping organic tea from a *bleached* bag? Not to me!
But let's not forget the most important thing, the taste! Being very familiar with another brand of green tea that I've been drinking for a long time, I'll compare PoP to that popular brand. The PoP tea is lighter, more delicate. It has a mellow taste, not harsh whatsoever, whereas other green teas can be harsh, especially if you brew them a little too long and little too hot. Not with PoP. It doesn't taste "grassy" like others yet it does taste "green". And this is the way authentic, organic green tea is *supposed* to taste. No astringent, overpowering flavor like black tea. This is due to less processing time; it's the very reason why all the beneficial chemicals remain intact.
I consistently steep six bags of green tea in the iced tea maker for 3 minutes (2 quarts). So while comparing different brands, they have been prepared in exactly the same way for comparison.
The one thing I would recommend that you do when this tea arrives is to place the contents of the box inside an airtight plastic container. The individual bags are sealed within paper, and once the box is opened the freshness may not last as long. It would be better if the bags were inside air tight packaging, but then of course the price would be higher.
If you're looking for a robust, strong tasting beverage you will not be satisfied with this tea. But if you're drinking green tea because of it's health benefits, then look no further than this authentic tasting green tea.
I give this tea 5 stars across the board with the exception of "Convenience". It would be nice if the unbleached bags also came without a string and label attached, which are removed prior to placing in the iced tea maker.

Not a good taste
I usually like green tea, but this one just doesn't have a very good taste. I won't buy it again.

Great Tea
I've been using this tea for months.
I add 1 dropper full of the Swanson Premium Green Tea Liquid Extract & its a perfect morning tea! With or without the extract, it tastes terrific.
By the way, the taste of green tea in general is really tolerable if you're a tea drinker. If you're not a "green tea" type of person, you can always start with your usual add-ins (creamer, sweetener).
