Carrot + Pomegranate Bar Soap
Nubian Heritage soaps often smell good enough to eat! The Carrot and Pomegranate is no exception, and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. It is a somewhat "girly" fragrance, so if you're buying soap for a guy who cares about these things, you may want to go with a different variety. I've been very happy with every fragrance of Nubian Heritage soap I've tried.

Of all the Nubian Heritage soaps I have used to-date, this Carrot & Pomegranate soap is the most exfoliating (abrasive), due to the ground Pomegranate and Cranberry seeds. The scent is also very complex, and hard to describe; it is, I reckon, what you get when you mix Carrot Seed, ground Pomegranate & Cranberry seeds and Calendula extract with Shea Butter, i.e. a not-immediately-recognizable aroma. Pleasant, though. The soap also drips orange in the shower, which I take as a good sign that there is a lot of Carrot Seed extract in its formulation. (And, no, my skin did not turn orange!) No doubt, an excellent bar of soap for facial use. As a man, I would say that the ladies might prefer this particular bar of soap from Nubian Heritage.

Love all Nubian Heritage Soaps. This is one of my favorites. These soaps last a long time.

I really like some of the other soaps by Nubian Heritage, but this is not one of my favorites. For one thing, I don't like the scent. I was hoping for something more fruity. It smells a little perfumey-but not in a good way. It lathers and cleans well, and is long-lasting, but it also started bothering my sensitive skin after a few days. My skin became red and burned a little. I much prefer their raw shea butter soap.

Not overwhelming fragrance, clean smell. Has a little bit of roughage in it, not sure if it's dried carrot peelings or what but nice for sluffing off dead skin.

This is a great soap. Leaves a nice smell that is not too strong or artificial. I will definitely buy more.
