NOW Thyme Oil imparts a sweet, herbaceous scent that is both stimulating and inspiring. A long time favorite among aromatherapists, thyme's warming properties are commonly used to soothe exhaustion, poor concentration and uneasy feelings. NOW Thyme Oil is 100% pure and natural, and is steam distilled from the plant's flowering tops.

Ingredients: 100% pure white thyme oil.

Suggested Use: For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grapeseed, olive, or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios.

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with skin or eyes. If pregnant or lactating, consult your healthcare practitioner before using.

Extraction Method: Steam Distilled from plant's flowering tops.

Not a fan of the smell My review isn't really based on the quality but rather the smell of the product. I've never owned thyme essential oil. I like the smell of the herb, but the smell of the essential oil is "tar-like". It's a weird smell and I'm not a fan of it, so I use it sparingly letting other nicer notes of lavender and rosemary mask the smell. It is potent and you don't need much. I use it in my homemade cleansing/beauty blends. If you can get passed the smell, it's a good value. February 25, 2013
