Raw Maca from NOW Foods features 750 mg Vcaps with a 6:1 concentrate. Maca (Lepidium meyenii) is grown at high elevations in the Andes region of central Peru. It has been used for centuries by indigenous Peruvians as a food source, as well as for increasing stamina and energy. More recent scientific studies have demonstrated that Maca supports hormonal balance and both male and female reproductive health.

All around best Maca I have found I tried Maca a couple of months ago to help with my energy levels and really liked this supplement right off the bat. I have been trying different brands and like this NOW-Raw one the best. It is very potent at 6:1 /750mg with no side effects for me. I was a little worried about it being "raw" but my system is fine with it. I contacted NOW customer service with a question and they responded back within a day, It is Gelatanized to remove starch and digest better. I use this in conjuction with Tongkat Ali and they work well together for lots of energy, evening out your mood, libido enhacement and overall feeling of well being. I gave it a 4 for value only because I wish Swanson had more free shipping or 2 for 1 offers but still a good value. February 18, 2012
Good Product I have been using this product for a while. I use it for hot flashes and meno~pause! Works GREAT! Wouldnt discontinue using it ever! Keeps me from getting hot flashes and feeling bad! November 6, 2011
fatigue reliever i use this to relieve fatigue and to provide energy. i have used this for about two years regularly. over time it has worked well for me. i had read about this on a site for people with issues like mine. i am so glad to see it sold here at a fair price. December 29, 2010
