Highly Beneficial
Enzymes are highly beneficial for us and I could eat these like candy. Any time we eat cooked foods we need to have Enzymes to help digest the food in our bodies. These are delicious and I am very pleased with the flavor. They say you can never get too many Enzymes which makes me happy!

Glad I Found Swanson
Our local natural store was out the Chewable Papaya Enzymes for a couple of weeks and I needed to purchase them so I did a Google search and decided to try Swanson because of the good recomendation in the search results. I found the same product from NOW Foods and was able to purchase it at much lower price. What a blessing.

Very inexpensive, and easy to take form of digestive enzymes.
The tablets have a pleasant minty taste.
Really helps me get the most out of a mainly vegetarian diet.

DIGESTIVE ASSISTANCE NOW
NOW has put together a nice product here. Chewing several of these after a meal, or after taking a big batch of nutritional supplements, generally does the trick - - - makes one's stomach comfortable. The Natural Papaya Enzyme, PAPAIN, will help the body to more efficiently and effectively pick up the nutrients just having been consumed. Depending on the amount and type of food or supplements ingested, one may need to chew up several, as in 2 or 3 or 4 of these.
I've seen Papaya Enzymes work very well for people of all ages for many decades. This Papaya Enzyme from NOW is a much better product and more powerful formula than the American Health brand Papaya Enzyme tablets that were around 30 and 40 years ago. (. . . . Still available today, and Swanson carries them, too.# Those worked, but these NOW chewables are more than 3 times stronger, have no sucrose #white table sugar) as the American Health brand chewables do, and are a better formula all the way around. Swanson has their usual great price here on the NOW Papaya Enzymes too, of course, just as you would expect.
Personally, I recommend this Papaya Enzyme from NOW or Swanson's own brand Papaya Enzyme. They both deliver 50 mg. of Papain per tablet, so they are equal there. Then it becomes a matter of taste - - - which one's flavor you prefer. We have used both, they both work equally well, and we like them both.

Already loved NOW brand...
..for their commitment to quality, and though these aren't as tasty as some other brands, I think that these are better/more effective overall. It is a pleasant breath freshener as well, being made with mint. The price can't get better, either! Definitely a fan of NOW and Swanson!

Affordable but not tasty
I tried Now Foods Papaya for the first time & compared to Schiff Papaya, which I had trouble finding, it's just not as tasty. It does help but I still prefer Schiff.
Now Foods Papaya was the most afforadable & that was one reason I ordered it & of course I will take it when I need to.
