Resveratrol is a polyphenol naturally found in the skin of red grapes, certain berries, and other plants. Scientific studies have shown that Resveratrol supports healthy cardiovascular function. Resveratrol, especially when combined with other polyphenols, is known for its anti-aging effects.

This product contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, shellfish, preservatives or alcohol.

Help with Aging obstacles Resveratrol is from the red grape which is suppose to be a very powerful antioxidant. I have used this product for more than 5 years. Swanson's for the last 2 years. I believe it has helped me overcome some aging obstacles. January 26, 2012

Best value While some of the Swanson formulations give you more mg per $, this is the dosage that I've settled on. This is the best price for this dose that I've found, and of course Swanson has the best price. From my reading of the research, resveratrol is one of those things where more isn't necessarily better. It doesn't take much to stimulate beneficial changes in metabolism. They often use large doses "just to be sure something will happen", but when researchers use smaller doses they usually get similar results. If anything, I would consider an even smaller dose. In which case, I would have to price compare with the Swanson formulations again. June 3, 2011
