Vitamin B-12 is a water soluble vitamin necessary for the maintenance of a healthy nervous system and for the metabolic utilization of fats and proteins. Vitamin B-12 is also essential for the synthesis of DNA during cell division and therefore is especially important for rapidly multiplying cells, such as blood cells. In addition, adequate intake of vitamin B-12, along with folic acid and vitamin B-6, encourages healthy serum homocysteine levels, thereby supporting cardiovascular health. Because vitamin B-12 is found predominantly in animal products, strict vegetarians may benefit from supplementation. Contains no salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg or shellfish.

Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, take 1 lozenge 1 to 2 times daily. Chew lozenge or hold in mouth until dissolved and swallow. Consider taking this product in combinatioin with NOW® B-Complex, Folic Acid, B-6 and TMG.

Do Not Eat Freshness Packet. Keep in Bottle.

New batch dissolves SLOWLY I have used this product in the past and they dissolved quickly and easily. The latest order I received in 10/12, they dissolve slowly and poorly. What I wind up doing is chewing a bit, then saving under my tongue. Wish Now had better quality control. I have some Swanson 5,000 mcg that dissolve easily and will use those instead. Methyl-B12 I caught this on sale. I really like that I got 100 caps in a bottle. So, it takes over three months to finish the bottle. Make sure you keep the silicone desicant in the bottle at all times - this stuff picks up a lot of moisture. July 13, 2012
