L-Tryptophan is an essential amino acid important in human nutrition for the synthesis of melatonin and serotonin, hormones regulating mood and stress response. L-Tryptophan helps support relaxation, sleep, positive mood and immune function. As an essential amino acid, it is not synthesized by the body and must be obtained from the diet. This product contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg or preservatives.

It Works My husband and I have a lot of trouble sleeping and this product has made a big difference for us. When he awakes in the middle of the night and can't return to sleep, he takes 500 mg. and fall back to sleep within 30 minutes. It makes me fall asleep at bedtime and helps to keep me asleep.
