NOW L-Cysteine is a non-essential amino acid that is an important component of hair, nails and the keratin of the skin. L-Cysteine stabilizes protein structure and aids in the formation of collagen, thereby promoting healthy skin, hair and nail texture and elasticity. Contains no sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.

Love it This is a great supplement and it does everything it's says. All L-cysteine does not work the same with me. I just stick with this brand because my body converts well with it. Some people may say well it didn't work for me so it must not work. People keep in mind everyone body is different and required more, none, or less of something. So it is a trial sort of speak. All I can say is I will never, yes I said "Never" go with out methionine and cysteine. December 24, 2012
Happy they carry this now I started on L-Cysteine for weight loss help. I take it in combination with L-Tyrosine, 3 times a day. Once I got down to my desired weight, my doctor recommended only taking half a tablet each time, which would also save money. Now is the only L-Cysteine made in tablet form so it can be cut in half. I was ordering from another company for much more $$, so I was really glad when Swanson started carrying it about a year ago. I love the convenience of ordering all my supplaments from one place, and I consistently find them to be the cheapest. August 9, 2010
