NOW Foods I3C provides powerful antioxidant protection, helping to prevent cellular damage caused by free radicals. In addition, I3C can help to maintain healthy hormonal balance for both men and women and therefore may support the health of the breast, prostate, and other reproductive organs. I3C is also known to support the liver's detoxification processes as well as normal cellular reproduction. Avoid vitamin C with I3C I3C requires acid to be absorbed but Vitamin C may reduce absorption. The defatted flax in this blend is brilliant for those of us seeking estrogen balance or mitigation. I3C might be your only option due to ubiquitous use of soy in DIM products. (I3C is a precursor to DIM) April 10, 2013
