Devils Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is native to the southern regions of Africa and gets its name from the hooks which cover its fruit. It is a traditional folk remedy of tribal African peoples and has also been used by Europeans and Canadians. Devil's Claw delivers a number of naturally occurring beneficial compounds including phytosterols, flavonoids and phenolic acids.

Contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives.

Full spectrum Devils claw is hard on stomach. NOW foods company have very good quality control system in place. Swanson and NOW foods are my first preferences, Swanson has better price,but swanson do not make the extract of devils claw,so I go for NOW foods.The same NOW brands products are expensive on other websites. good luck July 17, 2012
