Now Foods C 500 I chose this form of vitamin C as it is not an ascorbate acid, but a mineral (Calcium) ascorbate which is more gentle on my stomach. It also has bioflavonoids which I prefer. February 21, 2013

NOW Foods C-1000 I really appreciated that this product offered a really nice combination of ingredients including the calcium ascorbate form of vitamin C with bioflavonoids and rutin. However, after trying this product, I later switched to Now Foods' smaller 500mg size calcium ascorbate/bioflavonoid product in the CAPSULE form as I had much trouble swallowing these HUGE 1000mg tablets! As an aside, I will say that these tablets smelled GREAT! (Dr. Mercola says it is important to smell your vitamins. If they smell bad, you should not take them. It is your body's signal that they are not good for you.) December 30, 2010
