Of the eight essential amino acids that cannot be produced by the body, the three branched-chain aminos leucine, isoleucine and valine are of key importance. Straigh up BCAA Like any other BCAA powder it doesn't mix well so don't expect it to. It has a slightly bitter taste but not too bad. I didn't want something that contain artificial colors and sweeteners that the mixes contain (which do mix better). I use it for recovery not because it tastes good so just be realistic. Good stuff! I trust Now brand there are a lot of bodybuilding supps out there, making all kinds of wild claims. Now is a brand I trust, great quality, decent price. I take BCAAs with creatine as my pre-workout (fasted) drink. Gives good energy, good for the muscles. July 8, 2012

Great This product is exceptional, it is flavorless so it is expected to be bitter (as are all bcaa flavorless powders) it also does not mix well with water alone because LEUCINE IS HYDROPHOBIC (This is aimed toward the review saying it didn't mix well, might want to research your supplements a little better next time.) Chances are if you order a flavorless, basic bcaa powder it will not mix well...this is a good thing. September 22, 2011
This product needs TLC Here is how I get around the bitter taste issue with this product. I drink 6 oz. daily of dark chocolate almond milk. I add 1 heaping teaspoon of the branched chain amino acid powder to the milk and use a small whisk to incorporate. While not perfect, it is superior to using a regular spoon. The health benefits of this product make it worth my while to tolerate this inconvience. My doctor is very delighted that I have added this product to my supplement routine. I would have given this product a higher rating for effectiveness but I began using it just a few weeks ago and am awaiting routine blood work. I do wish this product came in either capsule or tablet form. August 19, 2011
